Hi, a colleague has shared a view with me and I want to create a zapier to notify me when a new record is added to the view. I think Zapier will only let me create a trigger app from a base, not a view. Is there a work around for this?

Thanks!

Hi @cathy_adams - Zapier will do exactly as you describe - trigger when a new record is added to a view:

Thanks @JonathanBowen. ‘trigger when a new record is added to a view’ will only work if I have access to the base that generates the view won’t it? All i have access to is the view that was shared with me.

Ah, yes, I see what you mean. You do need access to the base to be able to configure it in Zapier. Don’t think there is a workaround for this, unless the owner can set it up for you.
