I would like to know why there is no Simple Templates for the following examples for a beginner;
Parts and location, Music or DVD collection. These are so basic to most people.
It’s a big disappointment for me as a beginner.
Like my electronics teacher said, when troubleshooting remember if it’s plugged in, Basic things.

Sometimes you can take a template that might be the closet setup that you are looking for and tailer it to your needs.
The template that comes to mind is “My Art Collection”. Perhaps you could change the Field names and customize it to your needs or work off the template and incorporate some of the features of the template and create your own base.
I realize it’s not the most ideal situation, but maybe you can work with the templates that way.

A template is just another base.
If you want to create a template for your personal use, just create a base with the tables and fields you want. Then to use the base, duplicate the base.
If you have a base that you want to share as a template for others to use, you can submit it to the Airtable Universe.
