I just want to highlight or select 20 views or more at a time and delete them when we move from one school term to the next or one year to the next. Is there now a way to do this? There are some posts about this from years ago ...

@Linda_Bonder, Why don’t you submit your request via the Product Ideas submission form?

I don’t think so I’m afraid

As a workaround, what if we created a formula field that would indicate whether it was the current term / year, and then made the views filter off of that instead?  That way we wouldn’t need to create new views / delete old ones?

Had an education client. Instead of creating views with ‘2025 Proposals’ and ‘2025 Contracts’ etc, Used a Cycle table that mapped yearly cycles, say, from Aug to July. The same views could be renamed to ‘Current Cycle Proposals’, ‘Current Cycle Contracts’ and so on. All records are linked to Cycle table using a script/automation so no manual linking needed. Simply filtering for current Cycle updates the views.

Interesting, I’m not familiar with cycle tables - can you share a link that explains them?

We have 100 volunteers teaching English to about 700 immigrants each year. We use filtered views to create class rosters for about 40 classes each year. At the end of the year, when I refresh the base for the following school year, I want to deleted all those views so as not to have the base so cluttered. I don’t know whether cycle tables would be a way to manage our world?

Thanks
