What do you mean “syncing a record” with automations? Do you mean that you’re trying to create a record in a synced destination table?

This is not possible, because the sync is one-way only. You can only create new records in the source table, not the destination table.

However, for existing records only: you can add custom fields in the destination table, and update the values of those custom fields.
