I found a similar thread from four years ago but was unable to reply. I use Airtable personally, for freelance work, and for my 9-5 all with different emails/log in credentials. I would love a way to easily toggle between these things without having to log in and out every time and to avoid getting access error messages when following a link. Canva and Google both do this very easily. It would be great to be able to do so in the desktop and mobile app.
Your best bet for this is to use the Chrome web browser.
Chrome supports multiple user profiles, so you can use this to have multiple browsing sessions running simultaneously.
Each browser window can be logged into a different user profile, so you can easily switch between windows to switch between your different Airtable accounts.
More info in Google’s support article here.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to create separate user profiles — or you’d like each one of your browsing sessions to be in a different TAB instead of a different WINDOW — I would recommend using SessionBox.io.
p.s. If you’re working with multiple users/windows/tabs, you can use keyboard shortcuts to get mouseless control over switching your users/windows/tabs. For example, on the Mac, the keyboard shortcut to switch windows is command and ` (the tilde symbol), and you can customize your own keyboard shortcuts by going into Apple > Settings > Keyboard or by installing an app like Witch for Mac or Keyboard Maestro.
Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire the best Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
Hey
My go to solution at that time was to have multiple chrome profiles as Scott mentions above. My current solution: Just have my clients send access to one unique development email address (e.g. development@example.com) and have all of the bases I need to work with on one unique Airtable account.
(yes client will have to pay for an extra seat if you go with the latter!)
