My department tracks work tasks in Airtable. Occasionally someone edits something by mistake. The editor account can prevent changes the fields. Is there some one way to prevent a user from editing another user’s record. Example: Chris can edit any record he creates but cannot edit or delete records created by other users.

Welcome to the Airtable community!

This is not possible in the native grid view. However, it is possible in interfaces. You will need a {created by} field in the table. Then setup the editable interface page to only show records where the {created by} field is the current user.
