I have a zap set up to fill in a checkmark but it’s not working. I have used “true” “checked” and “1” and none seem to work. My zap is working correctly and connecting but what I have set up to fill the spot isn’t checking the box.

Are you using the quotes in the value you pass, like you have in your post?

If so, maybe try true without quotes around it. Also try 1 without quotes around it.

If that doesn’t work, post back and perhaps we can explore what else might be going on.

I didn’t use quotes around them on my zap!

Hmmm… I’ve definitely used just the keyword true to mark a checkbox via Zapier before:

Are you successfully updating other fields in the record with the same zap? Or is it possible this entire step of the zap is failing for some other reason?

This is correct, the checkbox field can evaluate as:

  • 1 or 0

  • True or false

  • Checked or unchecked

  • Yes or no

Like @Jeremy_Oglesby mentioned, there may be an issue with how the values are being passed from Zapier to Airtable.

This is the only action I have set up on the zap, it is saying the zap is successful but it’s not showing up.

Could you share some screenshots of the zapier fields and then of your base where they should be populating?
