Hi @Rodney_Beadon ,

On forms- click the top right button- share form and choose from one of the available options.

If this is mean to to be a public form you would choose “anyone on the web”.

Hi @Rodney_Beadon -

We had several of our links generate this error just last week. I reached out to Airtable, and they provided this guidance:

Here are some reasons why the form link may not be working:
1. Revoked or Expired Private Share Link
The error message “The private share link you tried to reach is not available” usually means that the share link for the form was manually disabled, expired, or revoked.

While Airtable form links do not expire automatically, someone with edit permissions may have turned off the "Share publicly" option for that view.

2. Form View Deleted or Renamed
If the form view was deleted, the share link will become invalid. Renaming the form view does not break the link, but deleting it will. Check if a collaborator could have made changes to the view.

3. Base or Table Permissions Changed
If workspace or base permissions were altered (e.g., form was shared from a base that was moved or access changed), links can become invalid.

Similarly, if a base was deleted or duplicated incorrectly, the link may stop functioning.

4. Form Set to “Private” by Default
Sometimes, a new form view is created but the “Share publicly” toggle isn't activated. In that case, no link is generated and nothing is visible in the share pane—this might explain the "disappearing" form link.

That said, these did not seem to apply to us, and we could find no reason for it to revert to a private link as it was a Form View that was shared publicly. However, we generated a new link, and it fixed the issue. (Share Form -->Link Settings → Generate new link). Note: This is a NEW link, so you will need to update anywhere that referenced the old link address.

Thank you Very much Problem Solved
