We just redesigned and relaunched Data Fetcher, and I wanted to share it for anyone who might find it useful.
What is Data Fetcher? It’s a no-code Airtable extension that pulls data from APIs directly into your bases. Think of it as connecting Airtable to your external data sources without the complexity of coding or leaving Airtable.
Why we built it: We kept hitting the same wall: Airtable is great for organizing data, but getting external data in (and keeping it updated) was always a hassle.
What it does:
- Import from any REST/GraphQL API
- Schedule automatic updates (up to every 5 minutes)
- Chain requests together into sequences for complex workflows
- Handle authentication & pagination
- Transform data as it’s imported
Real example: One of our customers, Fox Logistics, increased their shipment processing from 1,800 to 2,500 per week after connecting their external systems with Airtable through Data Fetcher - all without adding headcount.
