Welcome to Day 1 of the 12 Days of AI Plays!
Today we’re kicking things off with a classic holiday challenge straight from Mrs. Claus’ Bakery.
Your mission:
- Access the Holiday Operations HQ here and make a copy of the base.
- Upload one of the new recipe PDFs into the “Bakery Batches” table, then use Airtable AI to extract exactly what the bakery team needs.
You get to choose your difficulty level:
🍪 Easy Mode: Starlight Cinnamon Crinkles
🍪 Medium Mode: Northern Lights Raspberry Twists
🍪 Hard Mode (very messy): Storybook Fudge Nuggets
Pick whichever one you want — or try all three!
Your Challenge
- Download a recipe PDF (Attached to this Community post) and ask Omni to upload it into a new record in the Bakery Batches table.
- Add it as an attachment
- Name the batch after the recipe
- Use field agents to extract:
- Ingredients
- Allergens
- Any special instructions or risks
- *Hint: Experiment with asking Omni to create these AI field agents for you, or try manually creating each one.
- Create an AI Summary field that produces a clean, structured version of the recipe details.
- Ask Omni to fill out other fields that may be blank for this new recipe record, such as assigned baker, baker skill level, etc. Play around with instructions too, such as asking it to assign a baker who is the least busy.
- (Optional) Add an AI Classification field that identifies:
- Holiday flavor profile
- Skill level
- “Messiness score” of the document (just for fun 😄)
- Bonus: Ask Omni to create a new dashboard in the Bakery Interface! Experiment with a specific ask if you’d like specific insights, or simply have it create a dashboard using a general prompt like:

“Create a new interface page in the Bakery section that's a dashboard for the bakery batches table.”

Once you have your dashboard, experiment with the dashboard settings to customize it to your liking.

Goal of Today’s Play
Today’s challenge shows how Airtable AI can take unstructured documents, even messy, inconsistent ones, and turn them into clean, structured data your workflow can actually use. This field agent type is perfect for contracts, SOPs, research dumps, invoices, recipes, and… gingerbread-related emergencies.
