❄️ Welcome to Day 10 of the 12 Days of AI Plays!
Today’s mission is all about custom element generation using Omni — and we’re taking it straight into the heart of Santa’s Delivery Routes operation.
Every delivery route spans a number of houses across a region, and Santa needs precise addresses and coordinates to optimize his journey. In this challenge, you’ll use AI to generate fictional but region-appropriate addresses, map them, and bring Santa’s delivery paths to life inside an Airtable Interface.
By the end, you’ll have an interactive, color-coded delivery map built entirely with AI support.
Your Mission
-
Open your copy of the Holiday Operations HQ (or make a copy here)
-
Navigate to the Delivery Routes table.
-
You’ll create two custom field agents and then ask Omni to build a mapped interface.
This is a great opportunity to experiment with AI prompts until the results feel consistent and realistic.
Your Challenge
Step 1: Generate Region-Based Addresses
Each Delivery Route record includes a Region and a Number of Houses Covered field.
Create a new field agent called AI Addresses and prompt Omni to generate addresses that fall within that region.
Try a prompt like:
“Generate fictional household addresses located within the region listed in the Region field. Return them as a list, and the number of addresses returned should match the “Number of Houses Covered” field.”
You may need to refine your wording to get clean, region-specific address sets. This is all part of the experimentation!
Step 2: Generate Coordinates for Each Address
Create another AI field called AI Coordinates.
Prompt example:
“For each address listed in the AI Addresses field, generate plausible fictional latitude/longitude coordinates appropriate for the region.”
Make sure your output returns a structured list that pairs neatly with each address.
Step 3: Ask Omni to Build a Map Interface
Once your table includes addresses and coordinates, turn your attention to visualization.
Ask Omni to create a new Interface page with a Map element that plots each house along the delivery route.
Prompt example:
“Create a new interface that includes a map component plotting all addresses from the AI Coordinates field. Use a different color for the houses assigned to each delivery route.”
Encourage Omni to:
-
Use route-specific colors
-
Group data by Region or Delivery Route Name
-
Add filtering controls for Santa’s dispatch team
You now have a custom visual tool for Santa’s navigation crew.
Optional Extras
-
Add an AI-generated “Route Difficulty Rating” based on terrain or spread of coordinates.
-
Generate AI notes on weather risks for each coordinate cluster.

Goal of Today’s Play
Today’s challenge highlights how Omni can help you build custom structural elements — fictional addresses, geocoded coordinates, and visual maps — from scratch.
This mirrors real workflows like:
-
Field logistics
-
Delivery planning
-
Region-based resource allocation
-
Geographic data enrichment
-
Prototyping location-based products
With AI handling the heavy lifting, even Santa’s trickiest routes become manageable.
Share What You Built!
Post your results in the comments and in the Built with Omni Showcase!
-
How many addresses did your routes generate?
-
What did your color-coded delivery map look like?
-
What refinements did you make to your prompts?
See you tomorrow for Day 11! ⛸️✨
