I’m Russell, principal consultant at Mass based in Battle, East Sussex.
I’ve been building in Airtable since around 2020, which has taken me on a journey from hobbyist citizen builder to professional. Most of my career has been in web, across design and development roles, then transitioning more towards operations (which has a huge overlap with UX design!).

I won Airtable’s Interface Designer Contest in 2022 for ‘Best Design’ (see the winners).

This fun formula that sums the last 3 values as part of some dynamic pricing calculations:
IF(values, SUM(ARRAYSLICE(values, -3, -1)))

During my final year, I helped set up my university’s first ever hackathon. I recently saw how far it’s come, judging their latest hackathon last month!
My recently built interesting things:
An Airtable base that uses the Airtable web API to scan a workspace. It then maps the sync dependencies between tables in a workspace, based on the API responses.

Been building on Airtable for about three years and have gone quite deep into this, having developed multiple systems to manage a couple of consumer retail brands, systems, and processes.

Technically I’m London/Suffolk based, but thought I’d chance it in here - the London group is fairly quiet! But this looks fresh and fun!
I’m Aaron! Digital Operations Manager for RAW Group, who are essentially a Fashion Design & Sourcing company working with retailers like NEXT, Primark & ASOS. I’m pretty much a one man band when it comes to Airtable. I do the lot for the business - so much PROBLEM SOLVING.
Currently working on moving our Production and Delivery tracking into Airtable. The biggest challenge has been getting our international team to stop using spreadsheets, and there’s still a whole lot of secret spreadsheets going on, but we’re getting there. I’m essentially using Airtable to stream our entire workflow into one operation with a single source of truth. Trust me when I say, it’s a real hard graft! I’ve built like over 100 interfaces - and half of them aren’t even published. When I first started using Airtable about a year ago I had no clue, but was working with the Airtable Native Interface blocks. I’ve since expanded my horizons and now pretty much every interface I build is Custom - it’s prettier and can do so much more than the native blocks.
Outside of actual work, I’m using Airtable for a few other use cases including managing fixtures and results for my Football Club.
