In Excel/GSheets you can automatically adjust the min width of columns by double-clicking the separator. It would be nice to do this in Airtable’s grids as well 😄

It would be extremely helpful to be able to color code the table. I’m not necessarily looking for color to be based on a condition (hence a different thread).
Example Case: There are five tables within an airbase. Two of those tables are focused on action: projects and tasks. Three are focused on people: the individuals themselves, the vendors they work for and their expertise. The tab for the two tables focused on action could be one color and the three tables focused on people are another.

What is the proposed idea/solution? I love using Airtable for work, but find that there are many personal applications as well. Instead of paying $20 a month for a "Team" plan for just myself, which is excessive, I wish there was an "Individual" plan. It would have similar limitations to the free tier, but unlock: 10,000 records per base 2 gb attachment space per base 3 month revision history Expanded color and formatting 1,000 automations per month This would all cost around $5 USD a month How does is solve the user problems? This allows for expanded functionality of Airtable for personal use, capturing a new market segment, while not offering too many features to eat into the sales of "Team" subscriptions. It would help personal organization with more colors, more automations, and more safety from accidental deletions without being excessive like the Team plan How was this validated? This idea has not been validated further than my own use cases and desires. It seems like a reasonable missing pricing tier though that could be a win-win, giving users more functionality while also not adding too much overhead in terms of cost for Airtable Who is the target audience? Individual, personal users

I would find it very useful if there was an embed block that would be kind of similar to the page designer except that instead of printing it would be for embedding it into a website. The use case would be showing records from Airtable in a more customized way that would feel and look more just like a part of the webpage. Say I wanted to show a table with all our employees. Right now it would be via an embed view (which is great) but if I could design it to look and feel just like our website it would be very useful

Hello! I very often go info my bases to copy 2/3 fields from a much larger base - It would be great to be able to use buttons to copy information from selected fields to the user’s clipboard to avoid unnecessary navigation. Here’s an example of what that might look like: https://jsfiddle.net/jfriend00/v9g1x0o6/ And a code logic example I was able to find during research: stackoverflow.com Click button copy to clipboard using jQuery jquery, html, css asked by Dishan TD on 05:53PM - 22 Mar 14 UTC

Displaying the field name is useless for so many Gallery views created (and some Kanban views). For example, I don’t need to know that xyz@abc is their “email” or 123.456.7890 is there “phone”. The field names take up far too much space when viewing.

The product could be a plugin or widget that allows users to create dynamic dropdown menus for single select questions in forms. Instead of a static list of options, the menu would display different options based on the user's previous selections or inputs. For example, let's say you were filling out a form to order a custom pizza. The first question might ask you to select a crust type (thin, thick, gluten-free, etc.). Once you select a crust type, the dropdown menu for the next question (e.g. sauce options) would dynamically update to display only the sauces that are available for the selected crust type. The same logic could be applied to a variety of form types, such as surveys, job applications, or product order forms. The product could be customizable to allow users to set up their own rules for dynamic option selection based on their specific form needs. Overall, this product could improve the user experience by making forms more interactive and efficient, while also reducing the likelihood of user error by only displaying relevant options.

Commenting would be far more helpful if it behaved in Airtable as it does in products like G Suite and Office 365 – comments can be resolved and therein no longer displayed as an action item (in the case of Airtable denoted by the small number in the far left column of the record).

What is the proposed idea/solution? ...Allow copy and pasting "Options" and "Colors" from one Single Select or Multi-Select Field to another. How does is solve the user problems? ...Users have to manually enter "Options" and "Colors" for each Single Select or Multi-Select Field currently. This can be extremely time consuming and prone to human error, that can affect Multi-Syncs. Who is the target audience? ...All Users of "Single Select" or "Multi-Select Fields" across multiple Tables and / or Bases
