Security, sustainability, traceability and file management headaches would be significantly reduced if a file existed in one place, under a single corporate entity, with a single set of permissions and shared across SAAS integrations. It would be awesome if a file in Box could be published into an Airtable attachment field in an airtable record without copying it into the Airtable tenant and consuming storage. If a Box link were dragged into an Airtable attachment field and dropped, could Airtable interrogate the file permissions in Box to see if it is allowed? If so, present the thumbnail provided by Box as a preview. Click on the link, and it provides the Box preview as it does today and download capability. What is the proposed idea/solution? ... The new Rescheduling Logic is a great, and very welcomed addition. To further improve it's use, it would be very helpful to have a 'Hybrid" that would operate as it does with Flexible Logic when you have overlaps, but if a Overlap would not be created, operate as it does with the Fixed Logic.  In additional, the Ability to "Pin" a record to a date that is immoveable would be very handy. How does is solve the user problems? ... Currently, the scheduling is inefficient when Using Flexible if a predecessor finishes early, all of my successors do not adjust to show that they can start earlier - it leaves large gaps.  If I use Fixed Logic, and a Middle of the chain task needs to move Later, it will adjust the predecessor, because of the buffer setting.   How was this validated? ... Am I right in thinking that the "last changed" field type shows the timestamp when all or specific fields were last changed and if a change operation on such a field is UNDONE (by pressing Ctrl+Z) this will not get reflected. For lookup fields, it would be nice to have the option to cascade / inherit field descriptions from the table the data is coming from.  This helps nudge us towards single source of truth by: increasing the readability and intuitiveness of our bases and interfaces ('descriptions everywhere'); reducing the burden of managing that description (no longer have to cascade the description everywhere it is referenced); and eliminating the need for users to 'go somewhere else' to get their info (e.g. 'start a draft record in the other form so the info pops up', or a flat user manual that is decoupled from the application) It will need to be optional / opt-in so it doesn't break the behaviours of existing bases. Hi, Not sure if my previous post worked, but one of the comments from the team at work is that the grid views are messy when it's a whole page of 'pill' shapes, particularly when they're all different widths (based on the text length of each option). Is there the ability to: 1. Shade/colour the entire cell instead of just a pill shape? 2. If not, can the width of the pills be based on the width of the column instead of the text length, so they're clear and a consistent width regardless of the dropdown option selected? 3. And, can white be included as a pill colour so we can have drop-down fields that look like plain text? These would significantly help with clarity when reading grid views. Cheers, Andrew   ... What is the proposed idea/solution? If I link records in TableA to records in TableB via a "Link to another record" field, I get a column in each table reflecting the link. So I can look at the row in Table B and see which records from Table A link to it.  However, as of now, when linking to another record in the same table I can only see on Record A that it links to Record B and Record C I link to -- there is no corresponding field on Record B or Record C that shows the records that link to it.  Thus, I cannot run a rollup or look on the fields linking to me.  How does is solve the user problems? This is valuable for modelling two-way markets.  For example, I buy a lot of commodity in Record A.  I sell some of the lot in Record B and the rest in Record C, it would be extremely time-saving to be able to link Records B + C each to A, as "from lot A", then to have a field on A which shows the sold quantity (Rollup of quantity from linked Records B + C).  To accomplish the same today, you have to enter Record B + C, then open Record A for editing and put the link there -- greatly slowing data entry.  Who is the target audience? Anyone linking records within the same table who wants to be able to calculate aggregates. this seems to be a common enough question on the forums to have elicited some long frustrated chains.  ...
