We currently have multiple interfaces designed around bases that serve different purposes, however as they are all used by the same organization, it would be beneficial to be able to access all / specific interfaces from one place. This would definitely help users who are unfamiliar with Airtable and struggle to find the intended interface via the Home screen. The Home screen is obviously designed to do this by starring items, however there is always a lot of white noise. Starring items somewhat helps to move preferred items to the top, but not in the case where multiple bases / interfaces need to be starred. The idea here should be to allow creation of a basic 'home' interface that allows interfaces to be displayed for quick easy access. I would love to know if this feature is on the cards for the future, or if there is a specific reason that this is not possible (i.e. interfaces from different bases can't be combined because XYZ). IT seems like a basic function that is currently missing, if the idea is to be able to create interfaces that streamline workflow. What is the proposed idea/solution? Currently there's no easy no-code way to build an Interface which allows you to select multiple records from a list and then manipulate the data thereafter. How does is solve the user problems? For example, we're building an Invoice/PO management system which requires us to Approve multiple invoices at once from a list. Currently, the only workaround we have is to manually have a Status dropdown for each row which is individually changed. Then we have a single select record picker looking ugly at the bottom of the page, just to enable a Button to have an automation (even though it's in no way connected to the record picker's displayed record) which then runs our automation based on the status field. We should be able to tick multiple items in a List/Table and then be able to Automate from that. How was this validated? ... Who is the target audience? What is the proposed idea/solution? To add a configuration to the List and Grid elements on Interfaces that allows us to transpose the data in the source table. This enables us to present financial data in conventional way where Months, Quarters or Years are column headers in the interface presentation while the data is tied together in rows in the database (for calculations etc).  How does is solve the user problems? It extends the usability of Interfaces to enable conventional financial table views. How was this validated? This transposed view is the industry norm when viewing financial data for months / quarters / years. Who is the target audience? User/collaborator fields are kind of a hot mess. It shows 100% of all users, including deactivated users, as options to select. What is the point of user groups if we can't make this a feature to limit options based on a user group? This would allow us to setup multiple user fields for a project and allow each team to manage their team assignments, with only a list of those options on their teams. Then using kanban or timeline view, you would be able to see only the lanes/groups of those in your team for workload balance, etc. Currently when a user selects a user field, they see 100's of users to choose from. And even worse, in a kanban view they see lanes for all 100's of users. Not even an option to limit by only users with projects assigned. So unless you have an extremely small number of collaborators the kanban view is useless for using collaborator field. ... View more

What is the proposed idea/solution? Similar to Record Details pages, I would like the ability to include additional fields in the dropdown when selecting linked records in interface forms. How does it solve the user problems? I use unique ID's in the primary field, which makes it difficult to identify the appropriate record when selecting from the dropdown in interface forms. The ability to include other fields in the dropdown would allow me to select appropriate records without having another window open to map the ID's to my selection. This has already been implemented in Record Details pages, so I'm hoping it can be added without much issue (pictures attached). What is the proposed idea/solution? There is not currently an option to add a generic search bar to a custom interface page.  The only option is to have different filter options How does is solve the user problems? It would give users the abilty to search multiple different fields without having to make sure they are typing matching text in the correct filter option How was this validated? The issue We're working with list views that show a lot of numeric data for each record. When scrolling down, the header row moves up along with the records, so it immediately disappears from view and all numbers (which don't have any horizontal separator either) become a big blur of numbers.    What is the proposed idea/solution? It would be great if there would be options to: Enable a sticky header Show a subtle vertical line to separate columns Color or otherwise format columns   How does is solve the user problems?
