Within a base, when a user adds a new record from mobile, they have an option with an attachment field of taking a photo with their device (camera icon), selecting a photo from their device (landscape icon), or three dots to upload a file.  To take or add a photo, it's one click. On an interface, when users are adding a record through a form, they don't have this option - attachment field shows a down-arrow icon with "Drop files here or browse".  They then have to do one click on that button, then a click on the 3 lines menu, then click on Take photo, then click on "Click to record audio, video, or pick file", then "Photo Library" or "Take Photo or Video" That's 5 clicks (taps on mobile).  I've already contacted Airtable directly about this, in November, and they said they don't have a timeline for improving this. What is the proposed idea/solution? Access to the relevant information instead of having to use the current group feature in interfaces. Keeps info on one screen rather than scrolling up and down between field groups. How was this validated? I regularly curse that I can't get my eyes on relevant info quick enough...too many clicks to get to what I need to see to make decisions or communicate. Who is the target audience? Easy, I have a lot of columns and it would be great that we could freeze panes so I don't have to be scrolling back and forth! Also I love how the base and other areas say how many records there are in that window, it would be great if that option would be on the list layout and last but not least, I love to have buttons like "New Form Here" for X reason, it would be great to be able to add buttons on list layout.   Thanks!! ... What is the proposed idea/solution? On Interfaces, I would love for a user to be able to hover over an element and see the set of conditions/filters that are acting on the element.  How does is solve the user problems? I often create dashboards that summarize data for my colleagues. My colleagues are not comfortable going into edit mode to see how an element was configured. Nonetheless, they may be interested in understanding what data a number element, for example, is drawing from. This would allow them to learn that without having to enter edit mode.    How was this validated? Haven't validated it at scale, but I see this as a hurdle for my team regularly. This feature would improve user experience by allowing easier navigation through large datasets, as having numerous expanded higher-level records can lead to excessive scrolling. What is the proposed idea/solution? The proposal is to abolish the fees for Interface-only commentor level. Actually, a commentor is a viewer with the possibility to comment, nothing beyond that. No edits, no creation,  no management, etc.   How does is solve the user problems? It would change how companies (like my agency) can communicate with their clients (specifically those who are not active on a daily basis) or external partners over e.g. the workflow, reducing e-mails or calls. Often users type up their notes, meeting agendas, tasks etc into a Long Text field using Rich Text formatting. The Records Comments field is often a target for copy/paste from that field, especially with Comments Element being so prominent within Interfaces. However, upon copying/pasting Rich Text from a Long Text field into the record Comments, all Markdown formatting is lost. It's most frustrating - and to be honest I expect Comments to support such an action. In the "New " Interface layout, it would be great to "Add elements" like you are able to in the "older" interface layout. It is very helpful when needed to add a list or grid from a different table. It also helps with tasks list or being able to see all the linked records.  ... View more
