What is the proposed idea/solution? Allow the same "record detail page" to be used across multiple interfaces How does is solve the user problems? Currently a designed "record detail page" is restricted to ONE interface. However, since we can incorporate multiple interfaces across one app (via the left nav bar navigation in interfaces), it is common to need to access the same record from a different interface. Currently you have to rebuild the the record detail page for every interface that it's data is used in. (We currently have 4 interfaces, so we have to duplicate 4 times). Not only that, every time we make a change we have to change it in 4 places. ALTERNATE SOLUTION The add the ability to group pages on the left nav panel without needing to stick them into different interfaces. How was this validated? At my company we've probably wasted 200 hours trying to keep our record details pages in sync, Who is the target audience? Interface app builders

The old interface layout allowed you to have 2 colors to pick from for the background. The new interface is only light grey. It would be very helpful to be able to have several background colors to pick from to distinguish key areas. It would be nice to be able to adjust fonts, bold, italic, etc.

What is the proposed idea/solution? We need the ability to make more robust charts in interfaces. How about bringing something like the vegalite extension to interfaces? PLEASE How does it solve the user problems? Basic visualizations like overlaying a line and bar chart can't be done, but vegalite can do things like that and much more. Who is the target audience? Anyone who wants to have robust data visualization in their interface

What is the proposed idea/solution? The current Interface Designer is great, but it can be a bit difficult to make every field we need visible organize on a blank page that fits our needs. It would be great if there were widgets that allow for the collapsing of a group of fields or organizing them into clickable pages. How does is solve the user problems? Make it easier to demonstrate steps and phases to projects. Instead of having every stage laid out on one part. Clicking right or left or collapsing and uncollapsing parts of the record can show different applicable fields. How was this validated? Simply that if one "page" is not completed per guidance set by the creator, one cannot move on to the next phase. or just organizing field attributes in a box that will allow for page creation. Who is the target audience? Companies that use AirTable to create work flows for employees

I would find it very useful if there was an embed block that would be kind of similar to the page designer except that instead of printing it would be for embedding it into a website. The use case would be showing records from Airtable in a more customized way that would feel and look more just like a part of the webpage. Say I wanted to show a table with all our employees. Right now it would be via an embed view (which is great) but if I could design it to look and feel just like our website it would be very useful

Displaying the field name is useless for so many Gallery views created (and some Kanban views). For example, I don’t need to know that xyz@abc is their “email” or 123.456.7890 is there “phone”. The field names take up far too much space when viewing.

Today you can add a horizontal line divider. It would be useful to have the same for a vertical divider

Just as @Sean_Murphy1 asked here, the ability to have conditional data in interfaces. Sean's Example: if you’re tracking network outages you might use one field to specify that the cause is a power outage, in which case you would want other fields to appear that let you specify when the power outage started and ended (so you can track UPS runtime when the power goes out, and site recovery time when it comes back.) My example: the attached has an "answer type" field but I still have to have all available fields (currency, text, number, etc) for the view to work with all the data types. If I could add conditions to fields (IF Answer Type CONTAINS Text, show Text Answer), only the needed fields would show and it make for a much cleaner user experience.

What is the proposed idea/solution? In interface page layouts, add the ability to collapse groups so that the header is visible but the fields nested beneath are not. An added bonus would be the ability to select whether a group is expanded or collapsed by default in the page template.... How does is solve the user problems? I have several interface page views that are quite long, and not all groups are applicable to all records. Allowing me to collapse the groups that are not relevant would make it easier for me to see and edit the most important information efficiently. How was this validated? This is generally accepted as useful functionality and exists in other places in the Airtable app. Google docs just recently added this functionality as well. Who is the target audience? Anyone using interface page views with many forms/groups
