would like to be able to widen the first column (project name) in the iPad app. Right now, I have to toggle between expanded view and full list. Would be easier and quicker in a meeting to be able to just see the full project names in the list without toggling back and forth on each individual project.

Right now my frustration of having to use such a feature broken app compared to the desktop is just massive. Anyone else feel the pain? At the very least, a simple announcement from Airtable that they’re “working on it” would suffice.

PLEASE allow forms to open in the app! I like that the interface forms to create records open in the app, i don't understand why other forms cannot. Since airtable mobile website doesn't work well (you have to request desktop website) it is a massive PITA to complete a form on mobile device especially if you want to record WHO submitted the form (requires signing in). Since mobile browsers suck at keeping you logged in if you close out of your browser app, you have to constantly sign in and get the stupid message to get a magic link on your desktop.

The default responsive 'card layout' of an embedded view is perfect for mobile phones. However, the big disadvantage is that the search and filter toolbar disappears in this card layout. This makes it basically useless if you have many records in one view (in my case >1500). In theory, I assume this should be a relatively easy fix. Within the Airtable App the function already exist. I know it is possible to tell your browser to load the site in 'desktop mode', but if you use a table with many rows and columns this just doesn't give the right experience on a small screen. I built an advanced product portal using 'embedded views' that show >1500 records. The search and filter possibility enables you to find the exact product you need. The portal even comes with a responsive web app. But this final lack of functionality makes the tool practically useless for mobile phone usage. I know there may be 3'rd party solutions that come close to this functionality, but I just can't stand it that this functionality is missing. The card layout comes so close to being perfect, it just need a responsive search and filter toolbar! Any development in this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Mobile-friendly interface: To make the AIRTABLE interface more mobile-friendly, the following improvements could be made: Design the interface to be responsive to different screen sizes and resolutions, so that it can be used on any device without losing functionality or readability. Simplify the interface by removing unnecessary elements and prioritizing the most important ones, to make it easier to use on a small screen. Use larger fonts and clear, high-contrast colors to ensure that all text and visual elements are easy to read and distinguish.

It would be helpful if shared view links could be opened on Airtable IOS App to view the content (instead of the web app), that way viewer can use call & message buttons for phone numbers, etc.

This is the only frustrating issue I have with Airtable for so many months still no fix. I believe the fix is so simple and yet no change yet. On the mobile app on iOS when I edit records, it shows all 450 fields I have in the table. I only have about 20 fields out of 450 that I am editing when creating or editing new record. All remaining 430 fields or so are calculated fields, automations, linked/lookup fields or concatenated fields. I have to scroll though all 450 fields on the mobile because the app doesn’t hide the hidden fields. Creating new exclusive view for mobile all doesn’t resolve the issue, it still shows 450 fields. The only way would be to mess my whole table structure and move all 20 fields to front of the table, create a 20-field custom view for my mobile app and then ignore the rest when editing on the mobile app. This approach doesn’t work. The field order has a certain logic. If I add a 21st visible field to the table, I would have to move it manually 450 steps to front of the table to make it visible in front. That’s because I can’t use the function to copy field order from another view if I setup a custom 20 field view for my mobile app. Really, Airtable, how long it takes to do such a very simple tweak on the mobile all. Out of the wish-list (I am sure it’s long) it is hardly anyhing more simple. I wanted to email to Airtable support, what’s the best way to let them know. Here in the forum or email?

The button is way to small in the mobile app, impossible to click on first try, sometimes need to click 10 times to hit it. It’s not a problem with the application or iOS or Android but the close button is too small. The issue is on iOS (iPad mini smaller screen than iPad) and maybe also Android, don’t know.) See picture.

Hi guys, I use “Attachment” fields to upload images to my records. On my laptop I can select multiple images from my devices folders and and upload them all at once. Unfortunately it seems when uploading from my mobile, I have to select images one by one (Click “select files to upload”, select folder, select image, REPEAT for each image). Does anyone else experience the same when uploading from mobile phones?

Hi
Am having an issue with airtable forms on android where i open the form in the airtable app.
Half way through filling in the data, if i rotate the screen orientation, all entered data is reset to blank fields.
The internet version of the same form link does not have this issue.
A bug fix for you.
