Hello! It would be great to have the option to hide Prefill Fields in a form, especially when pre-filling fields with dynamic data. In my case, I have a table with users, and I need to add more information about them. To do this, I create a new table and a form. Then, I set up an automation to transfer some data from the new form to the main table. I will repeat this process several times, as I need to conduct multiple surveys at specific time intervals. The problem is that I need a reliable unique identifier. I would like to send each user an individual URL with Prefill Fields containing their unique ID. However, I don’t want them to see or modify this ID. Unfortunately, I don’t see an option to create a truly hidden field in standard forms—only conditional fields. Thanks for considering this request!

I am working on a form where the user will need to enter several expenses and then submit a total request amount based on those expenses. It would be so helpful if the expense fields that the user enters could be automatically totaled on the form in a way the user can see. I have a formula field doing that calculation in the table, but can't pull that field into the form. I imagine there are many other useful applications for a non-editable formula field appearing in a form as well. It's strange that this is not already an option, since a non-editable long text field is already an available option.

As we have view descriptions to identify the purpose of a view, it would be very helpful to implement the same feature in the forms list. In our case we have several forms for different purposes that are each tied to a number of automations. For the users editing the forms it's currently difficult to navigate the forms list and be sure you are editing the correct form as there is no description and/or internal name of it to indicate the purpose.

What is the proposed idea/solution? The ability to filter linked record selection by other values selected in the form. For instance, if I have an Estimate form that is linked to "Clients" and "Projects," I would like to limit Projects to those owned by the Client. How does it solve the user problems? It decreases the risk of data entry errors, and saves time searching through unrelated records. This is especially true in cases where tables are set up using unique ID's that don't contain searchable data from other fields. How was this validated? Building Interfaces / Forms to run my business. Who is the target audience? Anyone using Interfaces & Forms

In the options for different interface types, the only way to get a table is through starting with a blank interface and adding a table element in. This often causes scrolling issues between the whole page and within the table, and overall is is a very clunky way to get a table interface. Can a new interface be made that is just a table, similar to the list interface, but with the functionality of a table. It would be the same as the table view under the data tab, but having it as an interface gives a lot more control over access to it and sharing between other people. If this could be added it would also solve Allow what users can see/access individual Views in the same table as @TheTimeSavingCo commented on this.

Allow the Admin account to share specific views to users, and revoke access to others. This would be a page where I can add or remove users access to the specific view. This should also be similar in the Permissions options, where users can be an editor, viewer, commenter, but have it so they can have different permissions in different views. This means that a user may have access to 'View 1' and 'View 2', but not 'View 3', and this user is able to edit in 'View 1' but not in 'View 2' and cannot see or edit in 'View 3'

I often develop Airtable forms for use in youth afterschool programming. Since many of our participants are minors, it is important that we document their ages. In Airtable forms, I add the date field for prospective participants to enter their DOB and make it a required field. I set the "Range Minimum" to the latest date someone could be born and qualify for program (so, if a program requires you be 18 to participate, the "Range Minimum" to the latest date someone could be born and still be 18 by the program start date). Problem is, you have to click through each of the months of each year to get to the far past. This is time-consuming, and having the ability to type in a date would really save time. Overall, the Airtable team should look into allowing the date field to be used for more than just tracking dates connected to things other than just project timelines. Who is the target audience? People who use forms and other Airtable features to track age or other dates that occurred in the far past. This is NOT for people tracking future deadlines or team project timelines, as it seems that the Date field is currently configured with those users in mind.

What is the proposed idea/solution? ...Introduce an option in Airtable's Interface Designer to hide or collapse elements within a page until a filter or record picker linked to it has a selection made. How does is solve the user problems? ...When navigating pages with numerous elements or multiple filter boxes (often due to information being pulled from various tables), hiding elements until a filter option is chosen minimizes visual clutter and unnecessary scrolling. This enhancement simplifies the interface at first glance, creating a cleaner, more focused user experience. It also reduces the number of pages required within an interface, consolidating workflows and reducing the number of clicks needed to access information. Overall, this saves users time and improves efficiency by streamlining their interaction with the interface. How was this validated? ... This idea is supported by user feedback highlighting frustration with current interface designs, specifically: Difficulty understanding what a page offers or the purpose of its elements without a visible breakdown. The need to scroll through an entire page to locate a specific element, which can be time-consuming. Challenges faced by new Airtable users or those unfamiliar with a particular page, as they struggle to quickly grasp its structure or find relevant information. These insights demonstrate the value of a cleaner, more dynamic interface that adapts to user actions, reducing confusion and improving efficiency. Who is the target audience? ...The target audience includes any users of Airtable, such as (but not limited to) project managers, data analysts, and interface designers who rely on complex, multi-table data interfaces to drive productivity. Additionally, casual users who benefit from simplified, intuitive workflows will also find value in this enhancement.

What is the proposed idea/solution? Currently, when you click on a lookup field in the data entry form preview, it will display additional fields from that lookup view. However, in the actual data entry form, only the first field is shown in the pulldown for the lookup. How does is solve the user problems? It will help simplify the first field that serves as key and appears on interfaces/reports. Currently, the first field needs to be concatenated with additional fields in the view so that pertinent information is available during the data entry lookup that displays only first field. How was this validated? Tested by creating data entry forms the old way or through the interface. Who is the target audience? Creators and Users.

I've had a few cases where I was using views in the style of a "help desk" and really wanted to see the number of records that needed to be actioned on. It would be nice to have an optional badge count shown for records in a view or in the interface pages, especially for help desk and similar apps where the views and pages are filtered based on the actions needed to be taken.
