While Airtable is basically like a Swiss Army Knife that allows users to create almost anything they like, this does cause some issues for folks who would like to use Airtable to replace CRMs and Task Management software. For example, there are not Task or Location/Address field types, as these would essentially need to be “grouped fields” that have more than one value (a task field would need a Task Name, Assignees, Due Date, dependencies, perhaps a priority, etc.). While one could build a separate linked table called Tasks with all this information, Locations are more difficult to handle (e.g., many duplicate city names, no conditional selection logic). So, the ability to create something aking to a grouped/super field that could be customized to house multiple sub-values within the same object could be very useful. Just spitballing here, but here’s a few examples off the top of my head: Name/Contact (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Full Name, Title) Location (Address 1, Address 2, City, State, Country, precise GPS location) Task (Task Name, Due Date, Assignee, Dependencies)
