I am considering moving from the iOS application MyStuff to Airtable. My only struggle is with importing images linked to the records. When exporting from MyStuff, the result is a CSV file and then folders with related images. Does Airtable have the ability to import images based on file location references in a file in the CSV? Maybe it’s just me, but when I add a rollup field of a currency field, I need to manually set the formatting back to currency. I think it would be useful if the rollup field was to inherit the number format of the field it operates on – and if there’s conflict, then there leave it for the user to add. I currently use OnePage CRM to manage our 200-300 sales inquiries and recurring customers. I’m building an airtable that will do a lot of other useful functions and would benefit from a direct link with the CRM to share and update data. The two things holding up a functional CRM for me are An improved view, much like an output from a webmerge or cloud print solution for paper and similar to the existing Kanban view (but with improved ability to format a template and control the sizes of boxes and subsequent outputs). Right now there is too much scrolling for this to work well 2. I have used the gallery view to create create “cards” of my records with select information and I want to add conditional coloring that applies to the field rather than the whole record. So a given card will have multiple colors and the color will only be applied to field per record. ... View more

There have been many threads in here over the months to make Airtable more Forms Based (rightly so in my view) - but it occurs to me that a relatively simple start to this would be to build a List / Details type view with a brief (one or two fields) list of records on the left and then details displayed on a form on the right. The user should be able to specify fields to use in both areas.
