There are times where I’d like to indicate the expense or cost of any given object in my table with a one-to-five rating using a symbol indicating currency. For example, oftentimes restaurant meals are rating based on cost:€ for inexpensive, but € € € € € for very, very expensive. Presently, my options are only flags, stars and thumbs-up signs. I’d like at least a $ option, but € and £ and perhaps other popular currency symbols could be used. It could be automatically set based on localization settings.

Pull the items closer together, move the check boxes right next to the items, and remove the grid lines.

Please add the information icon in the view name to only show the tooltip pop-up or toast, whatever it is called, that charcoal background info window showing the decription, this should only show when I however over the information icon. There should be information icon in the view “tab” the same way as it is on the table tabs and the popup goes on only when I hower over the icon and not show every time I hower over the name of the view, I don’t need to see it every couple of seconds whenever I switch the views. Same goes for the View configuration menu tab on the top left. The information icon is there but it always shows whenever however over the entire button. Here is what I mean:

Hello! Does anyone know if it’s possible to color code so that in the calendar view, items show up as certain colors? I’m using AirTable as an editorial calendar, so I’d love to see my blog post topics on the calendar view show up in different colors depending on the category of post. For example, food posts in yellow, DIY posts in green, etc…

My plans for Airtable seem to have hit a wall. Can’t see to find a way to customize viewing and editing single records. I need to be able to choose a form to display when I open a single record.
specify how and where fields appear
hide (or enable) the log column at the right
control visible and editable states with permissions
change how linked records display (a mini form)
change fonts
configure “share to” action
Is this that something that may be in the works?

Let’s say you’ve built a decent number of Automations. And most of the time, things are working well. Then, occasionally, you get an email indicating an Automation error. 99.9999% of the time, it’s usually “Automation took longer than 30 seconds to complete – exiting early”. And then, when you manually re-run that particular job, it completes just fine. What if… I know I’m going to sound crazy here… but what if, when this happens, Airtable attempts to re-try the execution like 3 times BEFORE generating an error – so that way, transient errors are handled automatically?

There should be a unified view that links together all records and all tables (all linked records “left joined” automatically, or could be an option of left, right, outer or inner). This way, you could apply features such as roll-ups and counts without needing to update the linked records (“re-linking everything”) every time.
This will allow querying across tables from outside all of them as well…
I realise that there might be issue with recursion, but should be resolved easily by putting a recursion level that should be rendered in the menu or putting a soft cap (or both!)

when calling up the Find function, it kind of blends into the background and is difficult to see. A more contrasting color or offset would help tremendously with visibility.
