I really love the Page Designer block but found another feature idea that would be very useful. Right now when you use Page Designer it’s for a specific record. I would love a way to design a printable page for a view or table.

For some reason I cannot select the option “Unique” on the bottom summary menu when the column type is “Link to another record”. THere is only Empty, Filled, Percent Empty and Percent Filled. This should not be hard to add as the option is already there for other columns. It is very important to be present for these type of columns as well.

When duplicating a table it would be really useful to be able to rename the new table before it’s created; otherwise I have to go through all other tables and manually rename any field which references the new table.

Hello, I’m using the Airtable on the touch screen monitor in Desktop and I have set the appearance as a kanban view. With using the mouse I’m able to move cards, But while using the touch on the screen, I’m not able to move them. Touch is working for selecting and scrolling the items into the Airtable, But I’m not able to move the badges. It is working on i-pads but it is not working on the desktop touch screen monitor. Please let me know if there is any way to resolve it. Thanks Nikhilesh

Can someone from the Airtable team please explain to me why this feature has not been implemented? When you read through these forums, you will see that SO MANY users need this feature. And someone from Airtable once-upon-a-time said that it was coming. So why hasn’t it been implemented? Is it too expensive? Is it too complex for the Airtable team? Does the sales team this is going to drive users away from the Airtable front-end? What? Why? What benefit do they see of having their users use another service like [On2Air]https://openside.com/product/on2air-actions/ which is outside of their control? The illogic of it is maddening. In general my Airtable experience is more frustrating than not; and having someone from Airtable respond to this one post in clear way would probably eliminate half of that frustration.

It is great that we are able to restrict the selection of a Linked Field based on view. What I really need is to be able to restrict the selection based on a kind of dynamic view. Here’s an example. I have Clients, Tasks and Expenses table. In the expenses table, I select a linked Client. I then select a linked Task. When I click to select the task, I am shown all tasks for all clients. I’d like to restrict the view so that I only see tasks related to the selected client. Is this possible? I think it would probably require having parameters in views and then the ability to set that parameter based on the value of a field or formula.

The Page Designer block has the ability for commenters to switch which view is populating the data displayed in the block. I would like to see the same feature for the map block. An administrator can choose the view that populates a map, but commenters can’t get the data from personal view to display on a map.

Lookup field is great to consolidate the data from all the linked records into the parent Table cell. But there can be a way to avoid duplicates while consolidating. For example: On Child Table, I have Collaborator assigned to each Row. But that same Collaborator can be on many rows. On parent Table, it shows all the occurrence of that collaborator multiple times which is also great, but there can be an option to Merge Duplicates so it shows only Unique Entries. Thanks!

I know we now have shareable blocks which is great. What i’d like to do is be able to share/embed a dashboard containing many blocks. The idea is to use something like https://screen.cloud and embed the dashboard as “one page” of the digital signage to be displayed on a large TV in the office. It seems that Airtable creates a specific “shareable” link when a block is shared. Normal Airtable links will not embed in the same way. I’m hopeful we can add this feature and curious how others have found solutions to share the information in their Airtable dashboards on TV signage?

Hi, can you please add the ability to control the search patterns inside the search block? For example, add the ability to perform exact match search when searching across tables. Right now, search results bring back too many records to sift through. In general, would be good to have more control over the search pattern. Maybe you can add RegEx capabilities to the Search Block. Thanks for your consideration.
