Are there any technical scientific formulas at airtable? I need a solution for the triangle calculation of a right triangle at given distance and 2 angles. Analogous Excel =SIN(BOGENMASS(B2))/SIN(BOGENMASS(B4))*B1

I have a lookup field in a table. This is essentially getting me data about the parent of a particular record. I would like to be able to have this lookup field as the row axis of a Matrix block. I can’t see that this can be done - could you please add it to the roadmap?

I’d love a Block that generates a word cloud based on the data in both specific and multiple fields at a time. In a perfect world, you’d have the ability to exclude articles 🙃

As my tables have grown in records and evolved to continue fitting my needs, I’m finding I have a lot of adjacent fields that all have numbers. As the table gets larger and larger, it’s becoming more difficult to know what each number represents because the column title is often far away from my eye. It would be helpful if hovering on a specific cell would show the field title. This way, no matter where I am in my table, I can know clearly what the data represents.

Continuing the discussion from New Data Type: Location: Anybody figured out how to capture GPS location from phone yet? I upgraded to the map block & connected API already. Trying to verify field-service agents were at specific locations (and on schedule) throughout the day. This is a simple “check-in” feature with other apps I’ve used. Thx!

It would be great to be able to hide some tables from all user levels except for the Creator. Use Case: We use AirTable to track sales and generate orders. Most users are Editors and only need to see the main sales tables which hold the full sales records. We have a lot of tables which hold data for things like accessories and consumables. These are pulled into the main sales tables via lookup. Editors don’t ever need to see these tables. The base looks very cluttered and confusing to new Editors as they see lots of tabs (tables) at the top. Only the Creator(s) need to see or edit the contents of the accessories and consumables tables.

I know we have blocks and all that, but it would be really useful to have a little sparkline based off of a rollup or something. If you don’t know what a sparkline is, check it out on excel. Killer feature. Could look like this (mind the chicken scratch): A line graph Or this: A profit/loss positive/negative bar chart So basically quick little visuals built into the grid view (or card/Kanban view, for that matter)

Hey everyone. When you have a large set of records, grid view with grouping / filtering / sorting is a great way to create reports and surface meaningful insights. The problem for me, is when I have to turn this view into a PDF document that looks professional. A- Page designer, is great for adding headers, logos etc but it doesn’t support embedding a grid view with grouped records etc… and it only works with single pages. B- On the other hand, printing the grid view creates a very raw layout without headers or titles… I would love to see a report designer block with the ability to customize logos, headers but also border styles and fonts for a grid view Hope I’m not the only one wishing for this one…
