The (relatively) new Rating field type is a great addition to Airtable, but there are a couple of additions that would make it better. Firstly, support for half ratings. Rating out of five can be quite restrictive when limited to whole numbers, yet expanding the range to rating out of ten tends to result in bias towards the top (numerous studies have found that when a rating can be given out of ten, then the rating given for something though average tends towards seven rather than the five). Half ratings don’t tend to suffer from this - the average stays at three. Also, to me at least, rating out of five looks and ‘feels’ better than rating out of ten - I find a rating out of ten looks and feels excessive visually. Secondly, support for formatting the result of a rollup or formula on a rating field as a rating. Currently, any rollups result in numeric fields, which breaks the look of the table. Finally, more intelligent handling of empty fields when rolling up a rating. For example, an average rating rollup for records with empty ratings should result in an empty average rating, not NaN as currently (I understand why NaN is displayed as it’s a divide by zero problem, but that isn’t particularly helpful) ... Hi I am finding I am using Zapier to automate stuff in a client project and it would be much more useful if the integration were of the Instant type (as some other database products have with Zapier). Example use cases I have an app where a user can add an article to a table and the app needs to then work out which clients are due to receive that article based upon some logic (Javascript largely) in a Zap. I specialise in HR software generally - in a leave app you need to be able to create records for each day of a leave (so that you can properly analyse it). This involves comparing the date for each day with the employee’s working pattern and also a list of public holidays to determine which ones are actually leave days. To whom it may concern, An enhancement suggestion from Kalypso: In Interfaces, add more background color options and allow adding background color to single elements including list views, Grid, views, etc. that are not grouped with other elements. Alternatively or additionally, enable full background color capabilities that all elements sit on top of Expected Benefits: Improved aesthetics for Interfaces. What is the proposed idea/solution? ...User is able to select multiple Views. Any changes applied to the first selected View are applied to the other selected Views (e.g. Column Width, Column Order, "Hide fields", "Filter", "Group", "Sort", "Color", "Row Height")  How does is solve the user problems? ...Currently the process is manual for each View. Easy, I have a lot of columns and it would be great that we could freeze panes so I don't have to be scrolling back and forth! This feature would improve user experience by allowing easier navigation through large datasets, as having numerous expanded higher-level records can lead to excessive scrolling. What is the proposed idea/solution? With the recent updates to the Airtable API being more featureful with Record Comments - it makes sense to also give some love to no-code Automation Actions, allowing an Automation to post to the Record Comments, either as an Automation or upon behalf of a specified user. How does is solve the user problems? Currently, for example, an Automation can use conditional logic to email an Airtable operator of an issue with a record. It would be useful if we had other options too, such as the Automation posting to the records comment detailing the problem with that record. Who is the target audience?
