I would find it very useful if there was an embed block that would be kind of similar to the page designer except that instead of printing it would be for embedding it into a website. The use case would be showing records from Airtable in a more customized way that would feel and look more just like a part of the webpage. Say I wanted to show a table with all our employees. Right now it would be via an embed view (which is great) but if I could design it to look and feel just like our website it would be very useful

Currently it is not possible to add tables between bases without loosing the link between the linked tables. Since it is easy to Duplicate a Base now, it should be easy to combine 2 bases together.
Benefit of this would be to have control of the structure from one base to another.
Example: You have many bases that you need to combine without starting from the beginning. Right now we can use Zapier to move data around but nothing to control structure of the tables.

What is the proposed idea/solution? Many times your summary bar won't give the "bottom line" of a field that the user is actually after. It only allows the very basics like "Sum", and "Average" but misses a universe of options the user needs. For instance, it can not even give a weighted average by taking into account the values of another field. Adding the option (see below) to customize a view's field summary metric (with a basic formula), will turn your database much more useful. Without being able to give things like a weighted average or calculate anything involving another field makes the ability of your database to give insights quite poor. This will solve that: customizing will allow me to name the metric I'm after, and use a formula to determine what is shows. Like below: ...

HTML emails are great, why not offer a plain text version 🤔 ? 🚀Having pure text inside the body of the email allows you to better integrate Airtable with other software. For example in the creation of Tasks on Asana 😎 👻This is a mockup of how the interface might present this choice. 👉Please rate this feature, it's too cool. Thank you

Right now, it looks the Gantt view only supports Finish-to-Start However, I'd like to be able to track Finish-to-Finish The "workaround" to do this would be to further split by deliverable's final step that is actually dependent on the dependency. However, this generates a lot more data and linkage that makes the everything orders more difficult to both manage and digest Start-to-Start is one I can find some use in, too, but Finish-to-Finish is very common Smartsheets is capable of this and summarizes everything well here: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/765727-enabling-dependencies-using-predecessors

I love the embeddable Form option for information collection, however, it’s almost impossible to style the form using CSS since I can’t Inspect the code. It just shows as an over-all object rather than individual text and box components.
I would be nice to be able to know the div id’s or classes in order to make it appear a part of your site’s type faces and colors.
If this is an option already, no amount of googling or searching the community/support has turned up anything for me.

The interface module doesn’t seem to currently have the capability of adding / deleting a record. I would suggest maybe having a new type of element (Button) that could be added to the interface (i.e. button that could be settup to create record in xyz table, with maybe a popup requesting selected fields to be filled and then positionning to current record being edited)

What is the proposed idea/solution? Allow greater customisation of the Grid element in both interfaces and automations, in 3 ways: First, in the same way that field on an interface can have a 'friendly' display name, allow the same for grid columns (interface & automations). Second, allow the primary key field to be hidden (interfaces only, as this already exists in automations). Third, allow column order to be manually set (in interfaces a workaround is to create a view, but in automations there is no workaround, and column ordering is determined by when fields were added to the base table). How does is solve the user problems? Allows for greater customisation of grids, and aligns the grid element functionality more closely to that of other interface and automation elements. How was this validated? ... Who is the target audience? Developers

My automations would be much easier to maintain if, instead of duplicating an automation for each possible trigger, I could have an action in another automation that triggered it. For example, I would like to send a certain email any time a button is pressed, and also under certain conditions if a form is submitted. Instead of having two identical automations with different triggers, I'd like to have: one automation based on the button press that sends the email (and does nothing else), and a form-triggered automation with a couple actions (unrelated to the email) and a conditional action that triggers the button-press automation to send the email.

It would be great if I could search/filter/sort/group based on comments. Is that an option that I’m just not aware of how to use?
