System Field or Formula Function to Indicate Record Created Method (Manually, Form, API, Automation, Interface, etc.) Similar to Autonumber, Created, Last Modified, etc. OR Formula Function to use in a formula (e.g. Created Method) Can see this info in the Record View - Activity Log, but no real way to use these data points. ‘Created By’ shows “Anonymous” as the User when a record is created via a Form.

Ability to search for the Automation run history for matching data points in order to narrow down the result set, which can be helpful when troubleshooting errors.

Using Interfaces, when you bring in a record it will only show a few details in the “card” view, regardless of how wide it is. You should be able to modify the width of each of of those similar to how you can change the width of columns in the normal base so you can view more information at a glance in a view like this. In this example, there is a lot more info we would want to see, but it only shows the first few pieces of data, in this case Order, Year of Release, and Artist

Would be super helpful to have different ‘Views’ available for the same Base. I want to add more and more different tables to a Base, so i can have all the data linked together, but I never need to see access to ALL Tables ALL the time. With a lot of Tables, it gets confusing, time consuming and hard to use the tiny little slider up to to scroll through heaps of tables. Just how having views for different Tables allows the same data to act as two or more different Tables, i think the same would be true for Base Views. I find myself wanting to Create whole new Bases to limit the amount of Tables i have to scroll through, but loose the ability to link data. At the moment i just organise to either the Left or Right, or Middle, but that is clunky.

Since calculated fields cannot be merged, why have them appear at all in the dedupe interface? If you have a lot of calculations it’s a lot of clutter.

Airtable is changing the face of software applications by separating data from form. The Gantt, Timeline, Calendar and Kanban views are awesome. Why have special apps for these functions when your data underneath can be visualised as needed! My product suggestion is that a Network and Tree View be added. OR OR Technically these are all Directed Acyclic Graphs and there are myriads of use cases where business data forms either a hierarchy or a flow graph. Organisation Charts Bill of Materials Work Breakdown Structure Product classification systems Task networks (which complement the Gantt View) etc etc. Anyone else see value in a data driven view like this? Feature Request: Gantt View sort by Record Number (not ID) (Poll Vote at the bottom) In the Gantt view When the start and end date are equal to the start and end date of another record, the records will be ordered by their creation date. I would like the records to be sorted by Record Number when start/end dates are created equal. Additional Notes This will allow for the sorting of tasks to be organized manually from within the Grid view. This is useful when one record (or task) needs to be completed before another record for project management purposes. Tasks are always being created and updated and moved around. All workarounds are very cumbersome to get tasks to fall in order. My current workaround: Reorder tasks how I want them, Copy and paste all tasks into a new table in order for the Creation Date to be updated in the order that the records are in. All records now fall in order, but this is not practical. Question to Airtable and Community Is there a use case for having records in Gantt view be placed in order based on Creation Date rather than Record Number? I can’t think of one but I’m only using the Gantt view for project management. Maybe there’s another reason. Please Vote: Will this be helpful for you? Yes 0 voters
