I’d like the option to hide the first row number column on embed views. Whilst its useful for editing a table, I think in most scenarios where you embed a table in a webpage or blog (like the examples you’ve posted in your help pages) you wouldn’t want the row number showing. It’s distracting for the reader and takes up useful space.

Hey, I would love to be add entries to a linked field by scanning barcodes with a mobile device. This would be a great way to implement inventory or attendance tracking quickly and easily. This would require adding a “barcode” search option to the linked records popup.

Hi. I am new to Airtable, and am just starting to set my team up on it. So far, the biggest issue I have is this: my team mainly works away from computers. We are not constantly looking at our bases. While using Airtable as a mobile task/project management tool, it is impossible to know 1)if someone has completed a task, 2) if a task is overdue, 3)if a task’s status has been updated. It would be immensely helpful if someone who is “watching” a task could opt to be notified for any of these changes. Additionally, I think Airtable would benefit from creating more robust push notifications when someone is added as a collaborator or is mentioned in a row. For example: “You have been added as a collaborator in ‘To Do’ - Create invoice for new order - Due 07/07/17.” This notification can actually have an option to “Set a reminder.” That way the person responsible for the task can actually remember to do it (assuming that he or she can’t get to it right that very moment). These features would make Airtable infinitely more useful for me and I’m sure for many other users as well.

It seems like Airtable’s Zapier action “New Record in View” doesn’t always trigger. This action ONLY triggers if a record appears in the view for the VERY FIRST TIME. However, if a record falls off the view — and then that very same record returns to the view at a later date — it DOESN’T trigger the Zapier action again. We actually need the ability for the Zapier action to trigger EVERY SINGLE TIME a record reappears in the view, whether or not the record has appeared in that view in the past. Thanks!

Hi folks,
Being able to measure duration between tasks seems to be a fairly common business requirement. So far we have DATETIME_DIFF which is great because it lets you specify the unit of measurement (day, hour, minute etc). However it will also include weekend days. The WORKDAY_DIFF is great as it excludes weekends but unfortunately it only has one unit - day.
So my feature request - either add ‘unit’ as an option to WORKDAY_DIFF or create a new function called WORKTIME_DIFF.

I think the lookup formula should have a setting to show only unique values. I know ARRAYUNIQUE() in the rollup formula can do the same thing, but this is better used for complex operations. Also, colors will be lost here.

I’d like to be able to choose a custom starting number for the auto-incrementing number field - I have existing records that already have a unique ID # associated with them, but they don’t start at 1.

I’d love to see a way to set up a record template for the text fields (Long Text and Single Line). Some use cases I can think of off the top of my head:
*Templates for recurring social media captions, sales responses, sales/cold-sales emails, or any inputs that need to look a certain way or go in a certain order. Long text that varies in detail but not in structure. *Checkbox lists, sub-task lists, to-do lists, item information lists, that are required for every record.
