As noted in the documentation, conditional logic is currently binary if a formula isn’t used. You either entirely use AND’s or entirely use OR’s. Why not add “conditional grouping” to mimic the functionality parentheses would offer? While formulas can certainly accomplish a lot, that’s (1) a lot to expect from less tech savvy users and (2) still pretty inconvenient for quick, complex filtering, grouping, etc.

This would be HUGELY helpful. An example scenario is this. You have a list of clients in a table, complete with email addresses. When you select a particular client, that email address is fed into the Embed block URL which happens to be a Gmail search for that particular address, effectively showing you message history for that client. Allowing for dynamic URLs to be used for the Embed block in this way would be fantastic & could have so many other uses!

Airtable did an amazing thing with the implementation of looking up fields when creating a filter, making the life of people like me, with 60+ in a table, so much easier.
I was hoping to see a similar feature for the show/hide fields toggles. Any chance you guys are working on that?

It would be nice if Airtable added a “click to call” formatting for phone numbers. That way if you use Skype/Teams or another service you can simply click the phone number you want to call. The mobile app allows it, so not sure why we can’t have on web app.

It would be great to have the contents of a record expand on the right side of the screen as you click through the records, instead of having to expand into the middle of the page each one at a time? Ideally have it expand into the section of the screen that blocks occupies, sort of like split panel email. thanks, Scott

Would be nice to be able to group a set of tables onto a “grouped table”. In most of my bases I have primary and secondary tables and grouping the secondary together would help keeps things nice and focused. I can easily have 10-15 tables in one base but I don’t use them all equally.

In the #ios app, the search bar will live-filter records in a table based on the presence of search parameters in any field within the records.

This allows me to use the barcode search feature in #ios to search for a barcode in a field other than the “Name” field - it’s glorious.
It was quite frustrating to realize that my technicians who have #android phones cannot do the same - the search bar does not search across all fields. It only searches the primary field (“Name” in my case). We both scan the same barcode and my iPhone returns a result
#android specific #feature-requests - please add multi-field search comparable to the iOS search feature in the Android app.

A small feature request. It would be helpful if Airtable displayed the colour name when hovering over the colour-picker options when building a single/multi-select field, and in the Color Condition options - similarly to how Excel does. This would be a big help for colour-blind builders. Thanks, Chris

One of my primary uses of Airtable is to concatenate data from multiple fields into a paragraph using a formula field.
I would love to see the option to wrap text in the main grid view, but if you don’t do there, would you consider wrapping text onto multiple lines for formula fields in the expanded record popup?
Essentially, give formula fields the properties of a long-text field would display rather than a single line field when in the expanded record view.
It’s really difficult to review longer text short of copying and pasting it into another app.
