ICYMI: Airspace LA brought together builders from across the community for a night of collaboration, experimentation, and building with Airtable AI.

The energy in the room was high from the moment the buildathon kicked off. Builders spent the day sharing ideas, testing workflows, helping each other troubleshoot, and turning ambitious concepts into working demos in just a few hours. From AI agents to automations to research tools, every project showed a different way Airtable can power smarter and more creative ways of working.

At the end of the event, four standout projects were recognized for their creativity, technical execution, and real-world impact. Check out the highlights below! 💥

🎬 Automated Content — James Nevada

James built an Automated Marketing Video Asset Management System designed to streamline creative production workflows. By feeding brand guidelines into a multi-step AI pipeline, the system generated everything from concept art to final social copy tailored for multiple channels.

📂 Attachment Intelligence — Jason Berger

Jason tackled one of the biggest challenges teams face: extracting insights from disconnected documents and PDFs. His multi-agent AI system analyzed Product Intelligence Briefs, transformed unstructured content into structured data, and surfaced cross-product insights across the sample portfolio automatically.

📊 AI Research — Matthew Robertson

@matthewrobertson  showcased an AI-powered Influencer Analytics tool that combined a polished Canvas-based dashboard with real-time competitive research. His AI research agent crawled the web to compare influencer performance against market competitors, turning scattered data into actionable insights.

🤖 AI in Automations — Enrique Torreblanca

@Enrique_Torrebl developed a multi-agent AI control system for marketing briefs featuring a unique self-improvement loop. The system monitored agent confidence scores alongside human feedback and automatically suggested prompt revisions whenever performance dropped below threshold.

A massive thank you to every builder who joined us, shared ideas, demoed projects, and helped make the day such a collaborative and inspiring experience. One of the best parts of Airspace LA was seeing people learn from each other in real time and push their ideas further. Don’t forget to join the Buildathon Builder Crew page (or any other Crew!) to stay connected and learn from the folks on-site.

We loved seeing the creativity, experimentation, and community spirit throughout the evening, and we can’t wait for the next one. 🚀
