Howdy y’all, and welcome to our official Austin, Texas Airtable Users Group! 🤠

Whether you’re at the start of your builder journey or a seasoned pro, independent or part of the corporate machine, you’ve definitely found the right group of folks here in the Lone Star State to connect with on all things Airtable.

I’d like to introduce myself as a crew captain for our newly minted Airtable Users Group where we can come together to share ideas, workshop problems we’re experiencing, and theorycraft improvements to the Airtable experience we all know and love.

What are you using Airtable to build or support beyond the platform itself?

How has it changed your approach to work and how has it made its way to being a game changer for those you work with?

Share your experiences here and let’s find time to connect with one another online or at one of the many community gatherings to come! If you’re keen to introduce yourself (as you well should) drop some details below as such:
  • Name:
  • Organization / Role:
  • Whereabouts in or around Austin:
  • How are you currently using Airtable?:

Being located in Austin is a cheat code! Thank you so much for writing back Airtable team!

I hope to meet you all soon in person, but before then a little more about myself too:

  • Name: Estevan Aviles
  • Organization / Role: IGN, Operations Director (Former SXSW Conference Programmer)
  • Whereabouts in or around Austin: South of the river so may as well be in San Antonio - but really just next to the airport
  • How are you currently using Airtable?: Using Airtable as an organization to create and deliver on custom content in the games media space. It’s always a fun puzzle to solve how each team can operate in independent bases while also working with the same dataset due to linked tables. Powering automations outside of Airtable with tools like Zapier has been great as well, and I’m looking to get more experience with Claude powering my analysis and interface creation engine within Airtable too.

Beyond the work stuff, I’d love to see if some sort of choose-your-own-adventure RPG could exist with Airtable Omni and field agents powering monsters, loot tables, and an ever-evolving narrative! Maybe we can work on mapping this out some day. 😄
