Looking at the shopping list use case, it works great until you have checked every item on your list. After, there is no easy way to issue a reset on the in-cart check field. Any thoughts to making this an option?

While it is helpful to see a list of records linked to a linked field when in the linked source, it is not very helpful in main records and takes up valuable real estate. Would be great to allow this to be turned off. For example, in a transaction with Transaction Type of Credit, one doesn’t need to see the list of other records linked to Credit. Thanks.

Hi Airtable, Just wanted to make the suggestion that you move the [+] button to the end of a field’s contents or make it an overlay, rather than have it at the beginning. This is because when you make a field active the [+] button appears and shifts all the existing content to the right. But, if you were aiming to click on and access the existing content in the first place, it’s no longer where it used to be and the second click on the double click misses the mark. If you have relatively small field widths due to the screen size this can be very irritating indeed. Having the button appear at the end or as an overlay would solve that problem, as the content wouldn’t shift unexpectedly. All the best, Cameron

I’m generally having a hard time seeing various areas of a record, especially when all fields are not populated. Whether or not an attachment exists is especially difficult to determine when looking at the database. In the screenshot below, if I look carefully I can see there is an attachment icon, but it’s really washed out and hard to spot. Would it be possible to make the icon stand out more, or even better, to allow the filename or some other label to display next to it so that it would be easier to spot? [I guess this is an aside, but I feel like I’m lacking some basic browser understanding that would help me find a “theme” or something so that I could have an easier go of reading web pages lately. Using Firefox 44.0.2 on Windows Home 7 Premium Edition.]

This is an enhancement suggestion . . .my application has different information with every client. I need a partially filled form so it can be passed on and completed by the person who has the information. It would be nice to have an option where everything contained within the field could be passed to the Form.

The Collaborator field type is awesome, but when assigning multiple people to a task the column width needs to get pretty wide. Since the fields show people’s full names, it would be good to be able to set nicknames in the field settings. Or a radio button there for ‘First name only’, "First name and last initial’, ‘First initial and last name’, etc

I’m using Airtable for project management. I wish that I could assign work to someone who is a member of the Base without having to make a new table with everyone’s names

Hi, In legal cases is very important calculate the productivity interval between the start date and finish date, but this calc need exclude the weekends days. How can I do to calculate this? Thanks in advance.

I would like to suggest a map view that could “read” a field set as location and then project on a map all the records of a database…

Calendar feed subscription is great but it would be better without a little problem. For now, we need to share the view as a public link in order to generate a cal feed. It’s ok but the problem comes when in google cal or iCal we click on the link present in the event in order to see and edit airtable information : it redirects us to airtable public link view, so it’s impossible to edit the entry.

The calendar picker is rendered fairly useless when you try to add a non local date such as a birth date. Yes, you can enter the date as text. But a date picker is less error prone. I suggest something like and arrow above and below the year in the calendar that would let you quickly spin forward or backward through the years. Might be worth while for the months also. The side to side arrows remain for primal months in the current year. Think about the date selection mechanism on iOS for inspiration : )

Hi! I am requesting a function to personalize your form with for example a logo. The most important part for me is thou the possibility to personalize the print record view. I would like to tell which fields to be printed, add a logo, change the whole appearance. Right now the printed paper could be like 3-4 pages and this could easily be done in 1 page instead. Please add this function

There are embeddable views and the ability to embed a whole base. A great additional feature would be a hybrid of the two—the ability to embed multiple tables (and views within those tables). For instance, we have a partner companies base with tables for Companies, Contacts, Tests, etc. I would like to embed this table on an internal site for colleagues to have access too, but only need to share with them the Companies and Contacts tables. In addition, there are several individual views in the Companies table and there is only the need to make two of these visible in this embed (and could get by with one). Currently, the way to do this, as I see, is to either embed the whole base or embed two views separately—one with the Companies table and one with the Contacts table. A cleaner solution would be the ability for the base owner to select views and tables for inclusion when choosing settings for the embedding of a base. Do any of you have another use

So this happens to me all the time. I’m at the bottom of the grid view of a pretty large table, when I have a question about a piece of data in another table. So I switch to that table to find what I’m looking for there. When I switch back to my original table, I’m sent back to the top of that particular view instead of where I was, and have to scroll back down. If I’m switching back and forth fairly quickly, this becomes really annoying.

I miss the option for the input form to define whether the new record will be added to the bottom (default) or to the top of the list. The top option is required for shared data collection applications when is important after the table opening to see last records on the top of the screen without necessity to scroll over the list.

( posted to AirTable Forum: How to Reflect Filtered Records on One Table to Lookup in Another? ) • In a link, allow the option to use current filters applied to the target table • also allow selection of a view on the target table as a view can retain filter settings. • This would leverage the use of filters to provide a much clearer interface structure and avoid the additional columns and clunky formulas with embedded variables that must be updated on a periodic basis to achieve the same goal. This would be better achieved by optionally enabling the use of current filters on the target table for the link and further enabling the selection of a view on that table. I love the group feature with its ability to collapse rows into a more manageable view. It makes dealing with large amounts of data so much easier. But right now, when we search for a record and it’s in a collapsed group, that group stays collapsed. It would be awesome if that group could expand automatically. Even though Airtable tells us it has found the search term, we don’t know where it is, unless we expand all groups manually.

Right now I’m trying to create a view that shows records with last weeks Monday date, so I can add a filter that says is within last 13 days, then I want to say and is not within last 6 days to disclude this week. Need to have is not within option, or overall ability to add not to conditional formula, or some other way. Thanks!

Would be a useful feature to minimise selection from a linked table’s rows. Example: Our business has subcontractors who become active and inactive at different periods, their activeness represented by a checkbox data column. If they are inactive, they should not be able to be selected when assigning a subcontractor to a service.

Hi, Please enable users to choose colors of tables from hexadecimal codes, thank you! Airtable only provides ten or so color options, some of which are hard on the eyes. It would be much better if we could choose, and this should be a simple implementation. Thanks!

I love your Kanban and grouped views. Thank you. I would love these views on mobile. These refined views are most critical on mobile for quick visual insights . I am sure these are on the radar. The iOS apps are tip top all the same .

Is there a way to filter a table by keyword that searches across all columns? I would like something like the current ctrl/cmd+f feature, but instead just highlighting the rows that have a hit, the rows are filtered in. I could do a hacky workaround where I concatenate all the columns in a calculated column, but this is impractical in bases with 30+ fields

It would be awesome to be able to drag and drop line items to other table tabs. For instance, my main table tab is for current projects and my second table tab is for finished items. It would be nice to be able to just drag the line item into the other table. Right now, the only way to do this is to highlight the row in my first table, copy it, go to my second table, paste it then go back to my first table and delete the row.

I’m working on replacing our existing CRM solution and hopefully using PieSync to integrate with Google contacts whenever they get around to including Airtable. Right now it is hard in airtable to have compact views of the base and detailed information from records. Our existing CRM Solution (OnePage CRM) does a masterful job of this (and is also synced wiht Pie Sync) If there was a scrolling “magnifier” at full width that would open up an expanded view with more ability to format and align data. essentially webmerge for the web instead of print.

Please allow us to convert views like Gallery and Form into Grid. THANK YOU :raised_hands: A.
