I’ve searched through the forum, and saw multiple posts about this with no answer, so I assume this is not supported currently. Hence the feature request. Basically, I want a way to sort an array. One example use case is with ARRAYUNIQUE(). Currently, the ordering of the array returned depends on the order of the rows in the table. This is not a very desirable property for a rollup column meant to summarize a set of values. If there was a SORTED function, I could call that and make sure the value in my summary column didn’t depend on the order of rows somewhere else. Please consider adding a SORTED() function. Thanks.

Mine has 25 tables that I use. It gets tedious looking for the right table. What is the proposed idea/solution?User would like to limit the items show to unique values only.I.e. when a lookup field references a multi-select/single-select field from a linked record. Suppose there is 20 linked records, each of which has a multiselect cell filled in with 3 available options, Name 1, Name 2, Name 3. Supposed in the list of 20 linked records, there are 7 with the name 1 option selected, 9 with the name 2, and 4 with name 3. In the lookup field, I will see all iterations listed out, ("name 1", "name 1", "name 1", etc.... "name 3." totaling a string of 20 names. Ideally the user would like to just see "name 1" once, "name 2" once, and "name 3" once, since all of the other iterations are just duplicates. Hello,I think there should, or could, be a way to see the history of changes on a field type.For example, if a “Single Select” field turns into a text field, it can create an opportunity for errors and misspellings to occur. I’m dealing with this right now myself, and I have to go through each option manually now to eliminate duplicates.I would love to be able to see who changed the field type, so I can explain to them why it needs to be “Single Select”.I think it would basically be extending the ‘Activity Log’ feature of individual records to the fields themselves.Thanks!

I’ve been using Airtable for a couple of weeks now and absolutely love the app. However, using it at night is blinding with all the white, so it would be great to have a Dark/Night mode similar to the dark Twitter theme or similar. Any plans for this on the road map?

As an Airtable partner, it would be nice to be able to embed external content into Airtable. Although the platform is very flexible, it cannot do everything. By embedding external content, we can build an app interface with infinite possibilities! For example, a Miro board would enable project managers to have a digital whiteboard while leading meetings and taking notes. Hope my feedback makes it to the right person 🙂

The (relatively) new Rating field type is a great addition to Airtable, but there are a couple of additions that would make it better. Firstly, support for half ratings. Rating out of five can be quite restrictive when limited to whole numbers, yet expanding the range to rating out of ten tends to result in bias towards the top (numerous studies have found that when a rating can be given out of ten, then the rating given for something though average tends towards seven rather than the five). Half ratings don’t tend to suffer from this - the average stays at three. Also, to me at least, rating out of five looks and ‘feels’ better than rating out of ten - I find a rating out of ten looks and feels excessive visually. Secondly, support for formatting the result of a rollup or formula on a rating field as a rating. Currently, any rollups result in numeric fields, which breaks the look of the table. I'd really like to see the ability to version control files within Airtable rather than having to either upload additional documents each time a change is made and ending up with potentially dozens of files, or getting stuck deleting the old file and adding the newest update each time.Alternatively, there could be an option within an attached file of any type to upload a newer version, and then instead of showing two files in the attachment field it would show a single file with a history of past versions that could be accessed and referred back to. Old versions would still take up storage space, but wouldn't clutter attachment fields, and comments could be unified across versions to allow ongoing conversation as changes are made.

Trying to build a solution for our staff and a field that is the result of a formula calculation would REALLY be helpful. Currently calculated fields are not included on forms. I think this feature would add great value to Airtable, as it would allow people to build invoice forms with live feedback of costs.

Title is self explanatory. Would save space and scrolling time for boards with many stacks.

Please consider adding conditional formatting based on formulas. This is a key feature in Excel and would greatly help in Airtable.

Currently shift+down arrow goes to the edge of the table but it would be better if it goes to last updated value record. That is how users are remembering with Excel/Google Spreadsheets but I can see why Airtable designed in this way as new rows are not already produced by default. But if the table has 50 empty rows in end, its an “upscroll” task…

What is the proposed idea/solution?I'd really like to see comments as an automation trigger. How does is solve the user problems?I recognize that Airtable has a feature to send email notifications to users, but those emails are NOT detailed enough. Our team constantly comments on task records that are linked to projects. The issue is that projects often have the same tasks, so it's not at all clear via the email what task/project combo users are receiving comments on. Allowing comments to act as a trigger, with option to use @tags and comment watching in the "to" field for the email action step would allow our team to customize comment notifications.

This would allow users to create and test changes within a "test" version of a base, including data modifications and interface updates etc.. without impacting the live production environment. CSV downloads are available for the ‘List’ type of interface but not on lists within the dashboard type. It would be great to allow csv downloads from a list contained on dashboards.

Feature request... with interfaces allowing to filter by current user there are some users you want to always allow weather they are linked to that record or not. Would be nice to be able to add and additional filter that said if "current user" is any of...and they you could select users that always have visibility

Lookup field is great to consolidate the data from all the linked records into the parent Table cell.But there can be a way to avoid duplicates while consolidating.For example:On Child Table, I have Collaborator assigned to each Row. But that same Collaborator can be on many rows.On parent Table, it shows all the occurrence of that collaborator multiple times which is also great, but there can be an option to Merge Duplicates so it shows only Unique Entries.Thanks!
