I love the colouring options for Single and Multi Select fields - but by contrast this makes Linked fields look a little dull. Would it be possible to enable a feature whereby the Lookup field shows the value using the colour set for the record it’s looking up?

For displaying trended data side-by-side, it would be great to have support for side-by-side bar charts!

We’ve been encouraging our team to use Interfaces instead of going into the bases since it creates a cleaner, more controlled environment in which to do work. However, we are running into a big problem for communication. Our Interfaces are mostly set to be filtered by “Current User” based on a collaborator field, so everyone sees only things relevant to themselves upon opening the page – overall an awesome feature!The problem occurs with commenting – if someone comments on a record in their Interface and someone else clicks on the notification, it takes them to the same Interface page. BUT because that Interface is adjusted to their username, the record is filtered out. Thus the notification leads nowhere and the record is untraceable. We’ve had to go back to copying record URLs and commenting on things in Slack, which is a ridiculous step backwards!(Also, please show the notifications bell at the top of Interface pages so I don’t have to remember to go into the base to check!)

Unless Im missing it, I would like the ability to lock changes to fields in a base and/or records. Would help prevent accidental deletion. I discovered several days later I had done this…

I would love to see basic text formatting options for the long text field. At a minimum: bold and italic formatting would be a huge help. I would like to use long text fields to store short bios for writers. But without the ability to have italic formatting, I can’t properly format the titles of their books. The markdown formatting tools available in this Airtable community message editor would be perfect.

What is the proposed idea/solution?The ability to reference particular fields, for particular records, within Interfaces Text elements.    It would be helpful to be able to increase the right-hand width of the Automation List Panel Window. I am currently using a Mac laptop and a Chrome Browser and this is as far as I can move the right-hand panel boundary to the right. The inability to increase the Automation List Panel window interfers with my ability to view a complete list of all the Automation Names & Descriptions at one time and makes organizing and using my automations much more complicated and time consuming than it should be. Instead of just looking down a complete list of my automations with their whole names visible, I have to tap on the individual automation so the complete name appears in the middle Automations Build Panel.   I have the option to turn off the Automation List panel while I am working on the Automation Build (which is nice, but frankly unnecessary most of the time). It is, however, necessary for me to see my complete list of automations for eac

When building an Interface, we have to manually set every single field to "editable". It would be more efficient to being alble to do this for all fields in 1 click, eg with a slider. 

Loving the new interface templates and designer. Been working on transferring all my old ones to the new setup so they can work on mobile, which is excellent!For my desktop users, we've been used to using [ctrl + f] in a grid view to have that little "pop-up" to find records.  Now with the new search bar, we have to click on the bar to start typing. It would be great if [ctrl + f] would somehow jump us to that search bar. Not sure if this kind of thing is possible?

What is the proposed idea/solution?It would be helpful to create formula fields within an Airtable Interface that are independent of the underlying data table. How does is solve the user problems?For our account managers, we wanted to create a profit calculator in their dedicated interface. Doing so involves using our underlying data from the source table to create several new formula fields. To accomplish this we had to add multiple columns to our underlying data table, which are only useful in the context of this profit calculator and aren't related to the rest of the data in that table. The ability to create customer formula fields within an Airtable Interface that don't impact the underlying data tables and require the creation of new columns would help de-clutter our data tables. How was this validated?...Who is the target audience?Account Managers, sales reps, or anyone else who uses interfaces to manipulate underlying data...

I would love to see the option to re-brand a base to show the logo of the client I am building the base for versus the airtable logo. I’m not talking about removing attribution or anything, just maybe making a fee based upgrade option or something - like a new price point for developers/businesses that build bases for other businesses? OR free is even better lol!

I'd like the ability to open up a details side-page for a record by clicking a button in an interface page.For my use case, I have team members providing feedback via a "form", which is just a page layout with multiple editable fields. Occasionally, some peeps have wanted to see additional details to provide context to their feedback. These details come via a rollup from connected records in another table, and the delivery was very cumbersome, especially when there were many connected records involved. This often disrupted the original layout of the page, so I solved by creating a new interface page dedicated to hosting these details. Currently users can get there via a button to the 2nd page's URL.I think a slightly more elegant solution would be for the button to open up a record details side page, and allow me to display the rollup field there. This would let some of my team see the additional details if they wanted to, without disrupting the page layout, and without taking them awa

There should be a place to submit, access and maintain verified databases that are useful across specific industries. For example, a base with all the current Members of U.S. Congress with fields like Name, State, District (etc); or a base with all Airports with their time zone, city and state. Or a list of every country or state with abbreviations, etc. I think it would be a welcome addition to the community.

What is the proposed idea/solution?Creating a dedicated workspace for formulas that are on the bottom of the window in a Base that will generate greater visibility for formula expression writing.  It would also be very helpful if the formulas would have more predictive capabilities.  How does is solve the user problems?The current floating model is often too condensed to navigate or edit when dealing with lengthy formulas.  This would allow for greater visibility. How was this validated?There can be a "expanding" button that could create either a pop up window or a lower page window for viewing the formula....Who is the target audience?...

I love that record details pages now allow for conditional field/section visibility, however one big thing that seems to be missing is the ability to hide/show and enable/disable buttons based on other field values. This would really help us create more user friendly interfaces. Thanks!

According to the feature documentation for Record Templates, there is a default behavior by field type when applying a template to an existing record, as follows:Empty non-array type fields are filled according to the template's configurationArray-type fields are always appended to and deduplicatedNon-empty, non-array type fields are ignoredComputed field types cannot be directly modified by templatesI suggest allowing these behaviors to be modified per template, through a similar screen as relative date settings can be. As an example, Single Select fields fall in the 'non-empty, non-array' category, but I often need to change one of these fields (e.g. Status) along with other changes to the target record. Assuming the categories must stay the same, the following options would be very helpful:Empty, Non-Array: Ignore or OverwriteArray: Ignore, Overwrite or AppendNon-Empty, Non-Array: Ignore or Overwrite

What is the proposed idea/solution?Having the ability to clear unpublished changes on the interfaces has been very helpful, and is  in line with many of other development environments I've used.  In case I'm not being clear, I'm referring to the little blue dot (see below) letting us know the page has not been published, where moving the mouse pointer to the right bring up options including the clear changes.   My concern is when you have enabled "Allow users to open Record Details" when they select a record in many different views.  This will open a Sidesheet (or full page view) of the record, which can be customized.  The problem is that there seems to be no way of clearing changes in this view, once you're made the change it's done, and if you go to the the main page and use the clear changes option it will not clear these changes.To further complicate things, the Record Details sheet is shared for every page that points to that table, so an inadve

When rearranging dates in calendar view, dragging from a day in any given month to a day in a next month’s week is not possible, so you have to do it “manually” by expanding the event view and changing the date. Also, it would be nice to have a bird’s eye for proceses that start and end in different months.

It would be useful to be able to choose to open a complete form when enabling the addition of inline tasks in the Kanban view. Now only the data that can be viewed in the view is displayed.
