What is the proposed idea/solution?...We use a Timeline view to see all the AB tests we have running on our homepage. We have these color-coded in order to quickly view where there might be conflicts by different audience attributes (like segment or industry). At a glance, we can see all the tests running (grouped by site section) and what the audience definition is. But, when we have a test with multiple audience attributes, there is no easy way to see that. So for example, we have our segment attribute showing as purple and we have our industry attribute showing as yellow. If I had a test set to show for segment AND industry I would want to see the color of the item in the timeline as purple and yellow vertical stripes.How does is solve the user problems?...This would make it much easier to see, at a glance, where there are conflicts and overlaps when we have multiple tests running in the same site section.How was this validated?...Who is the target audience?...I think this would be

Whilst working with my local running club, I've discovered that the a grouped Grid View hasn't the ability to show the primary field as an average. My base design has the primary field utilised as the Time Keeper for each runners Finish Time.I noticed that there's no control to toggle the primary fields group count into an average (or anything else) - as per the other column, such as "Net Time Calculated".With my Primary Field being set as a Duration that captures the finish time, it's kind of important/useful to have these other options available.I'm hoping either that this is a bug that can be quickly addressed, or perhaps I'm having a moment (...or my browser is) and the option is there but I'm just not seeing it. &#x1f605

What is the proposed idea/solution?Formatting options for string output in Formula fieldsHow does is solve the user problems?Formula fields offer useful formatting options for numbers that cause them to display as if they were certain datatypes like currency, or a specific format of date.Airtable essentially has two formatting options for text: "Single line text" and "Long text" (and long rich text but i'll ignore that for now)Currently it appears that interface elements such a 'List' treat formulas outputting strings as a Single line text. Formulas might output relatively lengthy textual information such as executive summaries of technical issues. If I could specify that the format of this string is 'Long text,' the three lines worth of wrapping in an extra tall List element -- like we already have for dedicated Long text fields -- would be very useful.

When clicking on a button to update a record's multi-select list, it appears that we are only able to specify an absolute list of options that the field will take on. It would be helpful if we could specify values to add or delete as well.I've attached screenshots showing the Tags field before I click the button, after I click the button, and what the button does. Seems to be there could be some options beyond 'Set Blah To Selected Records' (Records? Surely 'Options'?) We could have 'Add Selected Options to Blah' or 'Remove Selected Options from Blah'I know in my screenshots the multi-select fields are editable but maybe I don't want the user to be able to apply any tag at that point in the workflow.Thanks for your consideration

What is the proposed idea/solution?It would be lovely if data types like multi select lists would take advantage of Extra Tall row height by breaking the list of selected items over multiple lines.Even for single select items, I can't think of a reason that text inside shouldn't also break when necessary.The attached screenshot shows why i would like this feature. The 'Services' column is an example of a multi-select that could be broken up to take up the vertical space (there are three items, they should all be visible) and the 'Severity of Customer Impact' is an example of a single select field where I think the text could be broken while retaining the lozenge effect around it.This would allow me to make better use of space and include more data in the list and I think it would also look nicer.Thanks for your consideration. I'm loving the direction of Airtable these days.

What is the proposed idea/solution?Can the interface have a right-side "sticky" block that allows you to put additional editable fields in place.How does is solve the user problems?This would allow us to put in a few different reference items as we work down a page but most of all would be a great place to have record comments How was this validated?We have an issue with having to scroll back to a specific block area to take notes or make comments and ruins the flow of the interfaceWho is the target audience?Any interface user who has to reference a large page and use information from different areas while making notes.

Via the "hidden fields" button, we can select which fields are shown and reorder them. We can't however alphabetically sort this list. When you have a lot of fields, it would be useful to be able to do that. It would also be great, just like in some Interface functions I think, if the ones we select jump to the top of the list, so we don't have to manually drag them up. 

LOVING the new List Views! It would be extremely helpful for our group if "Purchase Order" was one of the field name options (like "record" or "unit" or "task"). Our team base is helping us track invoices against contracts and which POs they were paid on. "Contract" and "Invoice" names already exist, but we currently have to use "Order" for our tier-two level, since there's no Purchase Order or PO option. Thanks!

What is the proposed idea/solution?When viewing a record's comments in a base, any comments made against an attachment also appear, as in the attached image.When viewing a record's comments in an interface, comments made against an attachment do not appear, as in the other attached image.I would like the record comments in the interface to behave like it does in the base.How does is solve the user problems?Though it is very convenient to be able to comment directly against attachments, it is inconvenient for the person reading the record to view all of these different attachments to find comments they may or may not care about. The record's comment should be the central place to find comments. This is how it currently works when viewing comments from the base and I would like it to work the same way (at least as a configurable option) for interfaces for the same reasons. Asking Interface users to check multiple places for comments isn't friendly.

I need a way to archive the bases. We collect Survey data among other metrics via air table, for a growing company.  I know that we could move them to another workspace, but I don't believe that would work since they are currently on the pro plan and would have to be moved over to a workspace on the free plan. We still want to keep the data as is and accessible.  If we can't archive is there a way to create folders to separate bases? I would love that, not only to have an archive folder but to better organize my currently used bases as well. 

What is the proposed idea/solution?When creating a form view, it would be great to set a question's available linked records to be filtered based on a previous questions answer. For example, Q1 is to select a contractor or team from our list of contractors (linked record from a resources base). Then Q2 is to select a project to submit the form against, but ONLY show linked project records that are assigned to the contractor team in Q1 so that the team selected can only see and select their projects, not other teams projects as to only serve a limited list and ensure our teams don't make a mistake in project selection.How does is solve the user problems?Opens up additional use cases for form flexibility. Solves our problem of not being able to have a curated and limited selection list of projects for each team.How was this validated?We send a form weekly to our contractor teams that do work for our agency to submit their hours worked per project so we can calculate project costs, margin

It will be really great to have a simple automation that just copies the data from one field to another. As sometimes I just need the data in another format. 

It would be great to mark bases as archived when no longer needed. I imagine them available under each team maybe under a second tab called “archived”. Would also want to be able to unarchive.

Have a "master" option in multiple select whereby if you select the master it then selects all the options assigned to the master option.Being able to download or even being able to copy and paste the full list of multiple select options.  

Currently, if you are using an AirTable form, and a linked field is included in that form, you can link records via the form. See the screenshot below. You can see “Base 3” is an option from the other table.However, it would be very convenient to be able to Add a new record from within that form (see below)

Frustratingly, we can't create Grouped Logic, with AND and OR operators within Conditional Automation Actions.The above screenshot shows this limitation, where all conditions are locked into either AND or OR.I'd like to see this work identically to other areas within Airtable, where we can apply grouped logic nested within AND and OR operators.The above screenshot shows the grouping within a Grid View filter. I'd like to see the same mechanism for Conditional Logic within Automations.

What is the proposed idea/solution?I use Airtable as my Goal tracker, I have several tabs (from left to right) which are 2023 Goals, Quarterly Goals, Monthly Goals, Weekly Goals, and Daily Tasks. Each tab is linked to the next one. For example, 2023 Goals is linked to Quarterly Goals, Quarterly Goals is linked to Monthly Goals, Monthly Goals is linked to Weekly Goals...etc.Whenever I'm done with one task on Daily Tasks, it means that my 2023 Goals, Quarterly Goals, Monthly Goals, Weekly Goals are all in progress. However, the bigger the goal is, the more tasks it will have. For example, 2023 Goals may have 2 Quarterly Goals linked, 3 Monthly Goals linked, 5 Weekly Goals linked, and 8 Daily Tasks linked. They are all connected, so it will be a lot easier for me to track if everything I'm doing stays align to my 2023 Goals.Therefore, it will be great if there is a Progression Bar/Progress Percentage shows the completion rate of the ultimate goal when this ultimate goal is linked to

What is the proposed idea/solution?Create an extension (or add ability to Forms) that would allow a user to enter in new data once, which would then create new records in multiple appropriate linked tables.For example, currently adding a person, address, phone#, email address would require creating 4 new records and entering each.  Yes, you can do this from a grid view, but each additional linked table makes this very cumbersome.Ideally, you should be able to enter in all the data for one logical record (first name, last name, street address, city, state, zip, phone #, phone type, email address, etc.) and the extension would create a new record in each appropriate table, linking them as needed.  ...How does is solve the user problems?Data entry in linked tables in a PIA, esp the more linked tables there are....How was this validated?Very common age-old issue.  Other db products have this capability....Who is the target audience?Everyone creating new records with sch

Having “folders” or some way to organize bases within each workspace would be wonderful. I have bases that we use daily for work and others in the same workspace that we only use in weekly meetings and other bases that we only open rarely. Being able to throw all of these into a folder or at least having the ability to place them on any row within the workspace we want to would be really nice and helpful.

A good feature would be a simple alphabetical sort option on workspaces to organize the bases alphabetically. Am I missing that feature?

I would like to have the option to bulk edit my records. I maintain 3 blogs and their posts w/in one base. I have a column that is the single select feature and have the blog names as the option. I am able to filter these using the filter future. although I find myself going through each record just so I could set each one to a specific blog. is there already a feature for this? If not, can u guys please add one? lol

I love the slack integration!  I'd love to be able to customize which types of updates come through - for example, I'd like to be able to limit update notifications to when someone comments, or someone @'s me, but not when someone changes status, or adds info to a field. Also, I'd like to be able to set it to ignore updates that I myself make, as I don't really need to be notified of those. 🙂 Thank you!

It would be great to have saved import configs where the field mapping and other settings could be saved so that all I would need to do would be to drag and drop a file onto that import config and the data would be imported the way I want it without having to do all the mappings and settings every time I import.
