Need the direction of the fields in a table from right to left for usage of hebrew data.Also the direction of writing and aligning text in hebrew needs to be from right to left.It becomes frastrating even more when including english letters or numbers.

It would be helpful if I am able to hide tables when they are not necessary for everyday work. 

I’d like to see the iOS app be treated as a first-class, native app. The app itself is done fairly well - it runs smoothly and mostly meets my needs for browsing and adding to bases (minus a few key features, for which there are already feature requests). But the iOS app is not treated as a first-class citizen in the iOS ecosystem, and this is evident in two things that I’d like to see fixed. When hitting a URL for a table or a record, Safari opens to handle the URL, as usual, but it ultimately resolves to a page on the Airtable site suggesting I download the Airtable app… but I have the Airtable app. So there is a link at the bottom that says “Already have the app? Open in app.” – most web apps that have iOS native apps as well preform this redirect on behalf of the user, so that the user doesn’t have to click an extra link to view their content in the native app. Great, so I tap that link, and my Airtable app opens to the last table I was on when I

What is the proposed idea/solution?Today an interface can only be created on a base from every table in this base. It might happen to wish to build an interface with information coming from different bases. Let's have an interface that can show data from all the bases! 

Hi,I tried to change browser language, location and computer settings, but calendar weeks still starts with sunday. Computers calendar starts with monday automatically, but airtables still starts with sunday

This could be either read-only or editable. For same-table links, state that the field is a same-table link and does not have a backlink field.When creating a new linked record field to a different table, state that a backlink field will be created and display the name that will be used (or let the user enter a name for the backlink).How does is solve the user problems?Many novice creators do not realize that a back link field is created when they create a new linked record field. I would be great if we could add buttons or links at the top of an interface sidesheets/full sheet record detail view to 'jump' to groups within the sheet.  For record details sheets that are pretty long, this would be useful. 

Starting yesterday, Airtable rolled out a new sidebar in the left margin to display the views in our base.This is fine, but please stop auto-opening this sidebar by default.Every time we refresh our web browser or enter a base, this view sidebar auto-opens.It takes up a significant amount of screen real estate, and it is a real pain to continually be closing this new sidebar. Every time we enter a base, we have to close the view sidebar again.The vast majority of people aren’t continually switching views constantly throughout the day. For this to be ever-present and taking up a significant amount of screen real estate is not helpful.This should stay closed by default.p.s. The old view switcher was not difficult to find or use.

Sems stupid to say the least but it is impossible to diplay most currency and units correctly because the Currency field dosen't allow the "currency symbol" to be displayed after the value. Adding a radio/checkbox to choise between the 2 options would be great.It could be added right here There is a post by @.Theo_Zachmann about it posted in 2017 (almost 8 years prior) and it has neither been anwsered by the Airtable Team or implemented yet.

Are there any plans get FedRAMP certification for Airtable? (There’s pretty much no chance of enterprise adoption in many government or government-contracting organizations without this.)

What is the proposed idea/solution?Disabling an action would skip that action during the automation run.How does is solve the user problems?This would allow me to build out actions, as they are supposed to be, but turn them off so I am only using the actions when I am ready for them. How was this validated?I am currently building out a brand new system where multiple people get notified at different stages of the process. I need to build out the notification actions but I don't want those actions to run, to avoid annoying active users with system testing.Who is the target audience?Anybody that uses automations in Airtable.

I love the Blank Interface option, it allows for text and headers, but it cannot be shared publicly for some reason? I believe Dashboards, however, can be shared publicly. Adding the ability to include links, image, text, and headers would be powerful and helpful (and relatively simple!).

What is the proposed idea/solution?The add the ability to group pages on the left nav panel without needing to stick them into different interfaces.  How does is solve the user problems?Once an interface has beyond 8 pages, it is too large on the left nav bar and pages need to be grouped. Grouping pages allows users to create a much better an organized user experience. Note that this grouping is currently possible by putting pages into separate interfaces, however this causes other problems since record details pages cannot be shared between interfaces (and cannot be deleted), making it extremely difficult to manage syncing record details pages between interfaces.  Who is the target audience?Interface users.

I’d like to use the Airtable app as my primary document Scanner. I love using Airtable to track expenses. And, f course, it is nice to include an image of the related receipt or invoice. Airtable’s iOS app allows users to snap pictures using your phone’s camera, however, it would be great if I could use the app to create a “scanned document”. Apps like Evernote and DropBox do this well so I typically use those apps to scan my documents but it would be nice to skip this step. Thanks Airtable!

Currently, I have to make another table to track dates, holidays and weekends.  This is a real pain.  It would be nice if there were a setting somewhere either at the table or base level where I could select work weekends, yes or no, etc.  Right now this is a really drawback.

In the comments in any airtable record it would be good to have attachment option so users can post pics, videos, files, leave an audio message, video message, etc. 

What is the proposed idea/solution?A new View Type that "freezes" records filtered into it so that its data, including formulas and perhaps other dynamic fields, no longer update but provide a snapshot of the record at the time it was "frozen". Records in the view can get ignored by API queries making automation and actions faster too.How does is solve the user problems?Improves Base performance because the system doesn't needs to constantly update formulas or check dynamical filtering conditions on records that are not in use.Reports can still be generated on this data without needing to copy the data from dynamic fields to text only duplicates of the field or duplicating entire records to another Archive/Reporting table or external source.Who is the target audience?Enterprise customers and users with large datasets.

The Free Version of Airtable continues to be degraded to the point that it now feels more like a trial than a free option. The addition of an annoying pop-up to subscribe is my last straw.I am not a free user. I've been a fan of Airtable for many years, introduced it to hundreds and interacted with thousands through many different use cases I've created. I'm such a fan that I've talked with everyone from teens to top tier executives in showing them how Airtable could be of use to them. I've created bases for countless people, most of them business owners. As a business owner myself I enjoy what I've been able to do and love showing others what they can do. I've stopped doing that. The free version of Airtable has become so disagreeable and degraded that I don't feel confident I can do something worthwhile to demonstrate its use. The last time I really showed Airtable to someone I promised big and failed completely. I’m really excited about the recently released calendar views. Thank you for including this in AirTable. It really helps to visualize certain data that’s associated with date and time. That said, I’m curious if you plan on supporting date ranges? My use case is that I track events that are happening in the world, specifically film festivals. I have a table that contains a list of 1200 film festivals and their start and end dates. I’d love to be able to see the ability to create a view that shows the range of dates that the festivals are occurring. Right now I can only choose either the start or end date, which is helpful, but doesn’t show me overlapping dates between the different events.

What is the proposed idea/solution?Linked Records, Lookups and Rollups are currently sorted in the order in which the linked records have been linked. However, this is many times not enough, as we need a different way in which to show the data! What is the proposed idea/solution?New interfaces are great except at moment we can only freeze a single field at top of interface windows or sidesheets. However i would really like to customize if certain groups of data can also be frozen to not be lost when scrolling, or the ability for viewer to collapse data groups.How does is solve the user problems?We have critical data tied to risks/flags that we always want visible. However they are lost the moment you scroll down for more data. By freezing, its always there. Or if we can collapse groups, then we can collapse groups below critical group to allow more data to be seen as needed. 

Currently the FREE plan allows for unlimited commenting and read-only users. This same feature is not available on paid plans which is something I really can’t understand… It does make sense to charge per user who creates and edits data, but to charge the same “seat price” for people who may simply leave some feedback once a month really makes no sense and severly limits the use of AirTable to the point we are considering switching out. Its even more inconsistent with the fact that this is an unlimited feature on the FREE plan that gets removed on paid plans. And as far as I know commenting on paid plans has no advantages or added features at all… So why charge for something that was already free and penalize paying users??

It would be really great to be able to embed the views with the option to alter them. I know you could build your whole custom front-end through the API with all the functionality you can think of, but the basic layout of the embedded iframe views are already so functional that it can quickly be overkill to entirely build your own front-end. I’m thinking of javascript plugin to embed your view with much more settings (than given with the iframe embed) and also events and callbacks so you can alter the embed through custom coded javascript, while starting off from the standard embedded front-end. Are there any plans in doing such a thing? Or am I missing something and is there already an other option besides embedding via iframe or using the API?

What is the proposed idea/solution?Currently, when you click on a lookup field in the data entry form preview, it will display additional fields from that lookup view.  However, in the actual data entry form, only the first field is shown in the pulldown for the lookup.  How does is solve the user problems?It will help simplify the first field that serves as key and appears on interfaces/reports. Currently, the first field needs to be concatenated with additional fields in the view so that pertinent information is available during the data entry lookup that displays only first field. How was this validated?Tested by creating data entry forms the old way or through the interface. Who is the target audience?Creators and Users. 

What is the proposed idea/solution?...Enable Arrayunique to be used on text fields with spacesHow does is solve the user problems?we cannot use Rollup to retrieve just the unique values when the field is a concatenated field with spaces. If this was addressed, then a rollup with arrayunique(values) can be used on concatenated fields (most primary key fields are concatenated)How was this validated?...Tried it on a text field with spaces and it did not work. Who is the target audience?...Creators
