Please add inches/centimeters, rulers, margins/guides, resolution, etc. The Page Designer block is great, truly; but not at all optimal for actual page layout designers. Also, DYMO and Avery label output, pretty-please. XO, A.

I find the box a bit small for the information I need to store in Description of the field. It would be helpful if the dark grey box can be resized and even permanently resized to accommodate more text. Right now the window is quite narrow and long so that adding more text would cut the text at the bottom. See pic.PS:I know there are apps available for Airtable to add more description and wiki, but they are outside of Airtable.

It would be nice if we could run a “bulk action” for multiple records selected. This is much easier than constantly updating a filter to run a batch update. Thanks Jonathan

When setting up filters based on a “Created Time” field, I would love if there were more options, such as:month / year createdwithin [insert time frame between two dates]within [past week, past month, past year, etc]For example, I added a ton of records to my Airtable on 6/21/21 and then again on 6/24/21. I only want to view those records, so it would be great to be able to filter for“Created Time” → month created = Juneor“Created Time” → date is between = 6/21/21 - 6/24/21

Hi, I have a linked field that links records from the same table but from a different view (I have filter applied on that view based on some conditions)When I link a field (from Table A) to a record from another table (Table B), In Table B, I get a new column that shows what records are being linked to in Table ABut in my case, when I link to a view in the same table, I am not able to see what records are linked to a record in the view.What I am trying to achieve basically is if a record from the view is linked, it cannot be linked to another record. I want to hide that record from the linking view. Please suggest if this can be done or if there is a hack for this. thanks in advance

In expanded record, have view tabs to change different fields preview for the same record.

Please allow hiding the Create a View pane on the bottom of the Views pane. I want to keep the Views pane but don’t want to see the “create a view” section. I suggest to add a toggle on the view configuration. This adds additional space to view the list of views without need to scroll it (not ideal on small laptop screens).

The SendGrid Block is almost a dream come true. It’s so helpful to send transactional emails from within Airtable, using field variables to personalize each message. But sometimes we send long and detailed variable emails that need bold and italic formatting to be effective. It would be great to see basic markdown options in the SendGrid Block. Please.

SendGrid block is a great feature which we unfortunately cannot use as it is now. It has been mentioned here several times (without response from developers) that formatting is crucial for any emails that are intended for customers. It is OK to have plaintext notifications for ourselves, but if we communicate with a client it produces very poor impression and we have to use other tools to send emails. In our case we just send confirmation of entries to our students with short instructions how to find us and what documents to prepare. Of course, ideally it would be nice to be able to attach images and documents, but even simple HTML or markdown will be enough for start to highlight important information with bold/colored font and make links to files readable. At the moment it looks like a mess of text and long links to google drive. I’ve tried to use HTML formatting in the email body, but of course it failed. Right now you’ll get a nice email telling you something went wrong but finding the actual failed entry can take ages (show more - show more - show more - show more - etc.) when automations run often.A direct link to the problematic run would be great.Alternatively some sort of filter on fails in the ‘runs’ page, another (tab)page / window or more context in the email would be good too…

It would be great if I could search/filter/sort/group based on comments. Is that an option that I’m just not aware of how to use?

I have an auto updating field “Last modified time” that watches another field, and updates when that field changes.However, I just changed that field type from “Single line of text” to “Long Text” + Rich Text Formatting, and now the auto-updating field shows that every field has now been updated. This somewhat ruins the integrity of the metadata on the actual field content.I am requesting an option on the Auto-Updating field types to “Ignore Field Type Changes” so that such changes to format/style but not the actual content, are not tracked as changes.The particular use case of Single Line Text → Multi-Line Text seems especially important, but I’m sure other use cases apply.Thanks!

Would like to be able to lock a dashboard of blocks to a particular table so that it always shows up when users are in that table but also shows up only in that table?A simple example would be having a dashboard with the CSV import block that would always and only appear in a “People” table of contacts (but would be useless in a project management table).

For example, a column that computes the percentage of a value of this record against the total of all records would be simple, as the moving or current sum is automatically computed on the column based on all the records without having to re-link all of them.

Right now if I have a record with a lot of fields I can choose to view the data in one long horizontal row (in grid view) or one long vertical column (if I pop open the detail view).I have a lot of space in my big monitor; I want to be able to fit more fields on the screen at a time by putting them in a two-dimensional grid rather than a one-dimensional row or column.It would be great if I could make a page-designer view that allowed me to edit the data directly from within it like a form. Alternatively I’d like to be able to specify a two-or-three column layout on the detail view.Either of these options would allow me to take advantage of my screen real-estate to view and edit lots of record data a lot more easily.

It would be useful to be able to have aggregates (e.g. sum of a particular field, max date, etc) visible by stack in Kanban view. There is a count of records at the bottom, but if, for example, I’m using a Kanban view for my sales funnel, it would be great to have the sum of sales value by stage visible in Kanban.

Hi when can I expect a calendar view to be available for the iPad? (or iOS in general). We are using Airtable as a simple CRM for an exclusive restaurant, and we think we can use the calendar view to keep track of when the reservations are. Right now, my client has to launch the desktop view on the Safari browser on iPad to see it, which is unfortunate!

When selecting values in a Multiple Option field, you must click the “select an option” button in between each value you select. This is true on both grid view and form view. I have Multiple Options fields that have over fifty options (in once case, all the towns in a county). Selecting more than a couple/few of those gets pretty tedious. Since a Multiple Option field is expected to have multiple values, could the pop-up selection box be made to remain active until all of the desired values are selected? You’re already doing this very well with your “Hide Columns” box:

We have so many bases that it would be so super helpful if we were able to customize the color of each a little further with a specific HEX code. Each of our bases represents a client of ours, and it would be awesome if we could use the colors associated with them instead of one of the 20 that isn’t relevant. If we were able to upload a logo instead of using one of the icons available that would be awesome as well.Anyone else???

Safari will adapt to the color of different websites with macOS 12 this fall. I’d love it if Airtable would change their code so the safari toolbar is the same as the header color. I’m sure many will appreciate that when the new version comes out!

This would be a very useful trigger in automations: “New field created”. I have several users with the permission to create fields in different tables. I need to keep track of this, so it’d be useful to have a notification whenever a new field is created in a given table (or base).

I would like a new attribute in the attachment data type for duration
