I’m really liking the new “My Favorites” view feature. It would be wonderful if Airtable could allow you to “favorite” Apps as well. I use the same 4-5 apps repeatedly between bases and every time I create a new base, I have to search for the apps. Would be great if all of my favorites were just there on the first page when I go to add an app.

Please add universal search accross the entire air table platform – searching across all bases. Thanks!

In Calendar View, an event (i.e. record) that has a time included in the Date/Time field is automatically shown to have a duration of 1 hour. This is very visible when looking at the Week, 3-day, or 1-day view.I can’t find any way to change this. I tried adding a Duration field, but this didn’t seem to do anything.Is there a way to change the duration of an event and have it reflected in Calendar view? For example, to 30 minutes or 90 minutes or 3 hours?If not, I’d like to request this capability be added. Even better, I’d also request the ability to set a default duration other than 1 hour for all new events.

Currently, it does not appear I can directly access forms on a mobile device. If I have the share link, I can access the actual form to do data entry. However, if I don’t have the share link handy, there’s no obvious way to access the form or even the share link. So, the simplest solution would appear to be: If selecting a view that’s a form, (while editing isn’t allowed) allow the user to get to the live form (for data entry) or at least provide the share link in the error message. Please connect the dots here.

I currently have a base that is used as a kind of a customer service portal for managers on duty, where they log calls and look up information that helps them respond to queries. I use the “Base Description” to record any updates I’ve added that day and remind people to check it, but it’d be very useful if you can set this or some kind of pop up reminder that shows every time someone logs in.

Not all of the Airtable users are young and blessed with good eyesight. Some of us are over 40 and it is VERY hard to read the contrast on the field headings. Please make them darker or give us the ability to make them darker and legible. Is it even ADA compliant being so faint and small? You can fix this so please do!

So all the hidden fields on my laptop are not hidden on my phone. I see that hiding fields on mobile has been requested since at least 2018, and I’m wondering if any progress has been made on this front? Is this something that could be achieved with one of the apps or something?

It would be nice if no matter the field type selected, if you could customize an option(s) to indicate the field was looked at but it wasn’t applicable, rather than left blank due to lack of data. Example: In a contacts base, I may ask for various information like phone number and the field type I select is “Phone”. It only allows for a 10-digit number (which can be really helpful) but I would love to have an exception where I might put “N/A”. Again, this would allow a little more flexibility, rather than an all or nothing approach.

It would be great to have the ability to filter Automation Run History on Failed vs Successful runs to make troubleshooting a bit easier. Now, when I get notified that an Automation failed (and it’s almost always due to a data mismatch when linking records through Automations) I have to scan through a huge list of runs to find the failure.

Issue: There is no way to copy or edit the Form View Redirect URL once it’s set w/o clearing the value when toggling the Redirect after form submit ON/OFF.Solutions: Make the link clickable once saved. Warn if toggling OFF to ask if user wants to edit/clear/cancel.

Issue: It’s difficult to find the corresponding View for a Share View Link, especially in Bases with many Views that have Share View Links created.Solution: Make a utility to reverse lookup a View from a Shared View Link that would indicate the Base, Table, View.Thanks!

I have {Events} linked to {Program} and if I attempt to filter {Events} based on the {Program} I can’t require it to match exactly, I can only specify “contains” which means “womens”, “fishermens”, and “mens” will ALL be returned if I specify “mens”—so there’s essentially no way to created a Filtered View just showing the events belonging to the “mens” program.

HI, To prevent accidental changes to my tables and bases, it would be extremely valuable to have the ability to temporarily lock it. For example, I’m a real estate agent in NYC and I am going out on a tour with my client. I would like the ability to view my tables but prevent myself from making accidental changes since I will be moving around a lot.

Another user asked for this same feature, but I would like to second the ask. Please add a capability to adjust the quarters on the Year display in the Gantt chart to accommodate for fiscal year/fiscal quarter.It will be very confusing for our roadmaps to show October - December as Q4 when for us it is FY22 Q1.Thank you

I’d like to request that the row height for the TITLE bar row be expandable. I know the ROW Heights are changeable but not the Title row. The reason is often we have to have more info/text in the title bar than will be in the filled data. For example, I have a title for a column that is “Contract Fully Executed” and the fillable data is a date which is much less text (less wide). In order to consolidate the data in the view if the TITLE bar was 2-3 rows then the text could be stacked, and the column could be less wide so more columns could fit on the page. We have bases with MANY columns so would greatly help with a more consolidated view. Thank you for considering!

Clearly a low-impact issue, but a trivial fix, as well. In the relatively few places Airtable presents bases in an alphabetized list, the list should be ordered by first non-emoji character. Currently, given the officially sanctioned practice of using emojis as ‘cover images’ for base icons, any base containing an initial emoji is alphabetized — by emoji — after an alphabetized listing of all bases sans emoji. (In comparison, lists of bases that use Airtable’s built-in graphics ignore those graphics in ordering the list.) On a related note, list alphabetization is, for some reason, case-sensitive. This results in the overall list actually comprising three sub-lists: [Non-emoji bases, A-Z] [Non-emoji bases, a-z] [Emoji bases, :number sign: to :nazar amulet:, presumably]

Base schema is a great application, especially for large complex bases with a lot of tables and links. But at some point it’s not convenient to use because you can’t scale it to fit page and be able to read table/name fields at the same time. Example:I did a little custom improvement to create schema of linked fields, for clear vision - which tables are linked and how, by excluding other fields. As far as I know, the only way to reduce the number of fields returned by Airtable in an API payload is to specify which fields to include using the Field parameter. If I want to inlude 200 fields, I have to include 200 Field parameters, which takes a long time to specify and can be problematic for the integration application; I’m using Jitterbit and I have so many fields to specify, the resulting URL is 3000 characters long, which Jitterbit is complaining about.It would be a LOT easier if, when using a View in the API, we could specify whether all fields are returned, or just those in the view.

Would be nice to be able to group a set of tables onto a “grouped table”. In most of my bases I have primary and secondary tables and grouping the secondary together would help keeps things nice and focused. I can easily have 10-15 tables in one base but I don’t use them all equally.

The name “Apps” seems misleading, and creates confusion between integration with literal apps such as Slack, etc., and what these functional widgets really are.I love the idea but it seems like a bad idea to identify them as “Apps” when the word “App” carries an entirely different meaning depending on the context.

This hurts Kanban view to me, as it prevents me from easily seeing the full task name. It’s cut off regardless of the primary field being a single line text field or long text field. Perhaps a compromise would be only to display the full primary field if it was a long text field.

A very simple feature that is already available on the desktop view is assigning a color to each record based on certain parameters. Unforuntitly the record color doesn’t show up in the mobile app for some reason. I am even ok with the fact I can’t edit the record color on the mobile app, but at least let me see what color has been assigned to each record on the mobile app. Is this not already possible? Hi there,If you use some special characters like characters with accents, you’ll need to use them in your searches too.For example, the accent character “é” in the word “président”…You won’t see it in the search results if you type “pres”…You must use the accents too in your search terms like “pré”.Could you make the search less strict ?Thank you guys

One missing piece of functionality is the ability to create advanced filters that utilize a combination of AND and OR filters. For example, here’s similar functionality from EnjoyHQ. However, I think Airtable could do this even better and the filtering functionality could be even more powerful if there both individual filters and filter groups (with clear visual indicators between filter groups to better illustrate their relationship. {Filter Group A Filter A1[AND] Filter A2} [AND] {Filter Group B Filter B1[OR] Filter B2[OR] Filter B3}

It would be really great to have week numbers shown in the calendar view, or at least an option to enable them.
