It would be great to be able to perform functions like duplicate, hide, delete, etc. for more than one column at once.You can select multiple but as soon as you right click, it deselects.

I was replying to a question in the Community forum and used the Zapier integration as a way to do this but I think this could be something built into Airtable as it’s effectively an AirTable to Airtable integration.So by having a new record added to one (or more bases) would automatically create a new entry into another table (perhaps in another base) with some prep-populated fields.

My use-case: I’m using Airtable to describe a detailed flow. Each row is a process step or a decision question. I added various columns, and also a Goto column for the next step. While this is an ok solution for my needs, it’s also tedious because I can’t graphically view the table as a flowchart, and because I need to manually maintain the Goto column (e.g. if I add a row, the numbering changes). I’d love to have a flowchart view built into Airtable. Example implementation: Add a “Linked Row” column type (well, chose a better name:-) that’s defined as linked to a different row. This link would automatically be maintained if the column is moved or deleted. Add a Flowchart View that would create a graphical flowchart view of my table with rows converted into boxes (the contents of the box would be the Name column? - TBD) and with lines connecting linked rows. Here’s the use case:The XLM of a blog post has multiple elements. When importing this XLM to Airtable, you can’t have a multiple-select column with all the hashtags in it. You have the first hashtag by asking for /hashtags[1] but you can’t assign /hashtags[1] and /hashtags[2] to one field in your Airtable sheet.Cheers

When you expand a record in the top left corner are arrows to move up and down the table. A + button next to them that adds a new record in the same table would be amazingly useful.

Hello community/developers,I’ll begin by saying I love this product. My colleagues love this product. We’re now beginning a journey to hopefully migrate our business away from Excel and into Airtable and I can’t wait to have our data in a cloud environment with an simple and easy to use API.Unfortunately, this means that our flagship application (the venerable sales log) is being looked at by more eyes, from more angles and that means more views! Too many views if you ask me, but I am but a humble in-house developer.I would love it I could somehow organise the views drop-down into logical categories or groups, to make browsing for the easier. I know there’s a search field (indeed, there’s a search field just about everywhere you could possibly want one) which is great for me, but some users prefer to see a finite set of options before them so they can find their way there.Thanks!tl;dr: I would like to organise the views drop-down into collapsible groups.

Having the calendar start on sunday looks very weird for anyone outside the US. Could an option to change this be added?

I would love to have a feature that would search a given table by a field or set of fields to find and surface duplicate rows. It would then be great to be able to take a pre-defined action on duplicated rows such as delete, or merge. Dealing with dupes is always a pain with large data sets or importing new data into a set where some records may already exist. A way to deal with dupes in a somewhat automated way would be really helpful.

It would be highly beneficial to include “link to record” in the primary field formatting. Many of my databases have yearly records for a central database of items, and I end up having duplicity by having the record name( primary field) manually entered followed by a link to record table field. Seems like it would be a heck of a lot easier (and less of a time suck), to simply link to the main record!

When using a shared base link it is currently not possible to submit a response to a form. When you navigate to a form page the following message pops up:This means that instead of being able to provide a single shared base link, I need to provide a separate link to the form which creates a slightly confusing user experience.Enabling submission of forms from shared base links makes it a very powerful tool for sharing information with and collecting information from a customer base.

Thanks for the Chart block, it’s pretty great for making bar charts! However, there’s lots of data, particularly percentages, that doesn’t lend itself well to bar charts. Are there plans to add other chart formats, like Pie Charts?

I want to request all of the missing features in the mobile app. Guys, it’s time to realise it’s almost 2019. Some people use their tablets as their only computers. I just started using Airtable and was amazed at how great it is… on desktop. Then I used the iOS app and realised the people at Airtable HQ are living in 2005 and don’t want people to pay for their service.Numbers on iOS can do more than Airtable can. Trello has an offline mode. Reading the hundreds of messages from the last two years, with people here asking for basic stuff (not talking about offline mode) is embarrassing.Get onto it. Quickly.

I have a pivot table block with two columns:A. LAST, FIRST NAMEB. # of RowsB is a count of the rows each person has made. I’d like to sort by B rather than A to get an idea of the top 10 or 20 contributors. At present, the feature doesn’t appear to be available.Thanks!

Subject says all. I have clients who have dozens of snapshots each day.Grouping them (at least per month or so) would be nice.

Is there any way how I can get the calendar view to display a custom period across two months. I need to plan a project that starts in early May and ends in early June and not being able to see the whole period is quite a deal breaker.Am I missing something?(I already tried using a timeline block, but that doesn’t work either cause you loose the days of the week)

I’m trying to use a lookup function to help me avoid running a zap within zapier. But it seems I’m limited to do a lookup (count sum function) within a specific table, not within a specific view within that table. Here’s the deal… I currently keep track of my customers that have requested quotes from our shirt shop (but don’t have an actual order going yet) in a specific view within my ‘order’ table. When they convert their quote into an actual order, we just change the ‘order status’ within that specific record. In order to help each quote customer remember to reply to us (if they want to move forward or not), we automatically send them a ‘1 week reminder message’ and if they still don’t reply a ‘2 week reminder message’ - These messages are zaps running within zapier. It would be great if you could add multiple tables to one timeline. So if you have your project separated into different tables you could have a nice overview.

Hello! Id like to report a couple hiccups in the user experience of our Airtable forms (at least on my iPhone 5s): When entering a date into a date field, the keyboard pops up and covers up the date picker. You can’t move the date picker to view it in full, and if you touch the x to remove the keyboard, the date picker closes too :frowning: When finding an existing record, the keyboard also pops up and makes it difficult to choose from existing records: Chosen existing records appear much wider than the form itself on the mobile screen, so that it’s difficult to figure out how to delete them if you’ve chosen the wrong one:

Hi all, I need to compute a deadline given a starting date and the number of working days. I have already known that Airtable offers the formula WORKDAY(startDate, numDays, [holidays]) for such purpose. However, the formula automatically takes Saturdays and Sundays as non-working days but I need to specify others instead (in fact, my non-working days would be Sundays and Mondays). Can anyone suggest any workaround for such situation? Truly appreciate your time.

Feature request Allow something similar to SQL UNION (smush two tables together) to create one combined table.

It is extremely useful to navigate through cells with expanded view but sometimes one can get lost.It would be very helpful to include row (primary field) and columns of that cell at the header of the expanded view window.Someting even more convenient than the expanded view to edit/read long text cells:when you click in a cell this would increase size as much as needed (now it only increases size as much as 20% approx.Thanks
