Hi,I’d like to see some advanced form view options:Full page-width forms;Editable font-size;Radio buttons for Single Select;Check boxes for Multiple Select;Number limitations (i.e. Between 1 and 10);Sliders for numbers, percentage etc.;Character limitations on single line text and long text.FYI: Using it for tests with the possibility to choose between answers. Currently using the drop down options form users to choose between Answer A, Answer B, etc. Because there’s more text than a simple form in it, the current form-width in combination with the somewhat ‘big’ font-size, makes the form harder to read. Besides that, it’s easier for users to fill in radio buttons, than to select from a dropdown menu.Best regards,Bram

I was doing some changes in some code app for my 3D printer firmware, along with some other dabbling here and there over the years and noticed some of these systems make better use of colored fonts than others. Today I was trying to help someone else in this community and was typing up the following formula: DATETIME_FORMAT(IF(Minutes < 1, CREATED_TIME(), DATEADD(NOW(), Minutes - 1, ‘minute’)), ‘MM-DD-YYYY hh:mm a’) I was able to create that by adding a piece, saving it, then looking up the next piece. To insure that every step along the way I had the right bits and pieces, it would have been incredibly useful if each nested function was a different color. So you could keep track more easily.

Hello, I would like to request that it be easier to flip from a Grid to Gallery View and vice versa. Sometimes it is just easier to work in one or the other and at the moment one needs to set up both views in order to do that, therefore adding unnecessary views to the view drop down menu.

Hello! For some of our reporting, we want to be able to have consistent colours for particular fields. In order to do this, we need to be able to customise the colours on the Chart Block.

We are starting to implement using the Page Designer Block to create “Sell Sheets” for our vehicle inventory. While I can see that there are numerous benefits to this feature, one thing is throwing me off.The page alignment is completely out-of-whack; the first time I tried to print, the bottom of the page was cut-off even though it was visible in the “Edit Layout” mode and the “Presentation” mode. I adjusted and got it all to fit (had to move everything up about 1.5", which is ridiculous), but the margins are still mis-aligned. I’m using two tables to display two different sets of activities for two different teams. There are some scenarios where I want to visualize the activities from each table together, so I’ve create a combined table that uses a vlookup field to combine activites and dates from both tables into one. However, now I want to create a timeline block using the start/end date as the required date field but airtable won’t let me. Is there a way around this?

I’m in the process of deciding whether to switch over from Filemaker, and my workflow involves a lot of text. Research notes, interview transcripts, article drafts. Filemaker allows me to have a text entry field the size of most of the screen. I guess what I’m really asking for is better form management options. For example, a two-column form with a narrow column for small fields – note title, subject, name of the person interviewed, that kind of thing – and a wide column for the main text field.

Hi, When 2 tables are linked via a link record you have the ability to create a new record in the target table from the link column in the source table. I would find very useful to be able to do the same when you want to delete a relation between the source table and the target one. In other words, being able to delete the linked record from the link column in the source table. Not sure I’m very clear :confused: Thx

I would love the ability to lock a table to prevent any further editing, but still maintain the ability to view, sort, filter that table. I have many records with tables per financial year, locking these would prevent errors by accident while still maintaining access.

Sorry if this is a duplicate but couldn’t find it.Among the options when adding a new table, it would be great if there was Import from Table (from same or another base), so that we could have an exact duplicate, including formulas and stuff.For example: I have two bases and I want to combine them. I can duplicate each base and keep history and comments, but if I want to duplicate a table from one base into another, I am left with pasting (not good for many records/fields) or CSV importing. In both cases, I lose all comments and history and rework most (for pasting)/all (in case of csv) of the fields.

I would like the ability to control how many fields are visible on the record preview when embedded on a website. I use the “card view on desktop” option, and it shows the first 3-4 fields on the card. This can be confusing for users that think data is missing or incomplete. It would be helpful to be able to determine how many fields are visible in the record preview, before clicking to view the entire record.

Most of my attachments are PDFs of business documents. In their unexpanded state – even in Gallery View –they pretty much all look alike. I would like to be able to quickly identify documents without expanding them, and the easiest way to do that would be to have the thumbnail display a relevant portion of the text at a readable size and resolution. Typically this text is somewhere around halfway down the page, not at the top where logos and indicias are usually found.I’ve tried making the thumbnails bigger and repositioning them by tweaking the CSS; unfortunately, Airtable thumbnails of PDFs are not tiny PDFs – they’re images – and they’re virtually unreadable when artificially enlarged. I would love the option to select from among different thumbnail sizes and resolutions when uploading PDFs or later. I have ended up with very wide tables (100+ col’s) that are hard to navigate in either grid view or as vertical tables. I would dearly love the ability to easily separate into separate tables on 1 to 1 relationship or group certain fields into a tab so as to get them out of the way.So instead of a huge vertical form view of a record, i see 6 or 8 different tabs, each tab containing groups of data - like, publishing attributes, acquisition attributes, sale attributes… these are all col’s of my data and it’s not easy to separate them out to separate sheets, yet it’s not easy to manage the data on wide tables either.basically, what i’m looking for are 1 to 1 relational sub records that can be displayed as tabs

I would like to link to a linked field on a table so that on the third table, the list presented is a subset of the records in the context of the second table. Currently, toggling visual revision history on the record level erases all visual revision history. It would be useful to be able to toggle the display of visual revision history (without deleting all previous history in the process). This helps all record-level comments to be viewed all at once

First post, so I apologize if this is in the wrong place, or it’s a duplicate. I did a search, but did not find a match. Also, this feature could already be in the app, and I just missed it.Situation: I’ve got a 1-to-many relationship between two tables in a single base. For illustration purposes, let’s say one table is “People” and another is “Families”. Let’s say that I accidentally link the wrong Person to a Family. Is there a way in the Android app to remove that relationship? It looks like I can long-tap and move the records/links, but there does not seem to be a way to remove them.In the web app, I can select an “X” in the field to delete the relationship, but not in the Android app.

My team needs to use the Page Designer block to print barcode labels. Each label must contain multiple, unique, scannable barcodes. We already have a way to create and upload multiple barcodes as image attachments to a given record, but once in Page Designer, we only have the option for “First Image” which displays the full image as expected, and then “All Images” which displays cropped, square thumbnails. Such thumbnails are not scannable, as our barcodes are cropped.Please, if anyone knows how to use multiple “First Image” Page Designer elements to display sequential, unique images within one record, or if anyone knows how to override the auto-thumbnail setting, please let us know!Thank you,A.

As a team member, I would like the ability to temporarily filter and sort on a column without changing the view settings so that I can perform some quick analysis without creating a bunch of separate views or messing up the current view. As a base owner, I would like the default sort, filter, and grouping actions for a column to NOT change the view definition so that one team member doesn’t accidentally mess up the view for the whole team. Instead, there should be a separate action to “update view definition based on current view settings”. Note that having some distinction between the current view and the view definition is typical in many products, including SharePoint lists, QuickBooks memorized reports, etc.

It appears that when you create a countdown block, the time configuration defaults to GMT.It would be great if there was an option to count down time in a specific timezone, or to view the time left in the countdown from my local timezone.

This one’s a little complicated to explain in the abstract, so I’ll give you an example: Let’s say I’ve got a table of Students and a table of Classes. The primary key on the Classes table is a number field rather than a single-line text field, the number corresponding to the graduation year. In the Students table, there is a field that is a link to the Classes table, so that each student can be associated with their graduating class. Let’s say we have a student named John Smith who graduated in 2015. The record for student John Smith would have associated class of “2015”, which links to all the properties of class “2015”.Now, lets say I’m on the Students table and want to filter out all students who graduated before 2014. The “find in view” feature could be a lot better. Here are the problems I see: Search text obscures field names: when you click the magnifying glass or type ⌘+F, the text-entry window covers up the field names. You can’t tell what field you’re looking at unless you scroll left/right to get around the search window. Search only returns “perfect match” results: If I search for “John Doe” I also want to see results for “John S. Doe,” “John Q. Doe” and “Dr. John Doe.” As it is, these variants are outside of my search results. Unless I know their middle initials or titles and know that they were entered into Airtable with those variants, I have to search for “Doe” and look through every single Tom, Dick, and Harry “Doe” to find the John I want. Search is limited to a single field: Similar to the above, I want to find a 2016 transaction made by Jane Smith, but if I search for “Jane Smith 2016” no results are found. Search results should be more like filter results: My people table has 5,000+
