Hello and welcome to the Milwaukee Builder Crew!

Whether you're just getting started or already deep into Airtable, this is a space for people in the Milwaukee area to connect, share, and learn from each other.

I’m one of your Community Leaders here. Please join and follow this group so you stay in the loop on discussions and upcoming events.

Use this space to:

  • Connect with other Airtable builders in the Milwaukee area
  • Share what you're building and get feedback
  • Ask questions and exchange tips, tricks, and best practices
  • Discover local events and opportunities to learn from the community
  • Find inspiration for new ways to use Airtable and AI

To kick things off, please introduce yourself! Here's a template:

Name:

Company/Role:

Location:

How are you using Airtable?

What's the coolest thing you've built (or want to build) with Airtable?

What would you like to see from this group? (This helps us plan future events and programming!)

I’ll start:

Name: Rachel

Company/Role: I help run a nonprofit program called Report for America that’s working to revitalize local news across the U.S.

Location: I work from home on the east side of Milwaukee.

How are you using Airtable? I built a database of the reporters and newsrooms in our program, as well as systems and workflows for our program operations, from training to grant payments.

What's the coolest thing you've built (or want to build) with Airtable? The coolest thing I built recently was an interactive map of Report for America alumni and corps members.

What would you like to see from this group? I’d like to have an in-person meetup soon for Milwaukee-area Airtable users!

Hi! Happy to join and kick the tires on this forum and Airtable itself. I can’t even call myself an Airtable user at this point, but more an interested observer. I am on the board of a couple local non-profits and there are a couple potential projects that we’re investigating and it seems Airtable may be able to help me make those come to fruition. More to come on all that. :)

Anyway, my intro!

Name: Christopher

Company/Role: Vice President West Allis Community Impact Partnership & Foundation; Communications Lead West Allis Resources for Independence, Stability and Equity

Location: West Allis

How are you using Airtable? Not currently but investigating it’s potential use in a project I may be taking on.

What's the coolest thing you've built (or want to build) with Airtable? Both of the main non-profits I’m on the board for are interested in a centralized resource hub for our community. I’ve been (slowly) investigating how Airtable may be able to simplify producing that.

What would you like to see from this group? At present I find this more of an opportunity to network and learn - I don’t have much to offer outside of crazy ideas at this point. :)
