I want information in my base to be available to the public.  I (will) have a public website, within it will be a search page.  From there I would like users to access my base.  BUT, access must be read only; and upon opening the base, I would like the first view to be only the FILTER tab.  Users should never be able to see or have access to the entire base.  Is this possible?

Hello - I am clear on the subtleties of Workspaces and chargeable collaborators, but one point remains unanswered.Does the top-level 'account holder account' have to feature as a collaborator in any or all of the Pro Plan workspaces that sit under that account? In other words, can I: make one of the collaborators a second owner of the workspace (assuming the workspace was created by the account holder) then ... delete the account holder as a collaborator on this workspace I don't have an environment in which to try this on my own at the moment.Thank you!  

Let me describe my issue with a mock-up.I have a database with two tables: People and Projects. People are linked to Projects (people can be on multiple projects and vice-versa). I want to have an information how many People in common each pair of projects has.I would start with creating a junction table Projects x Projects, lest call it Project Matrix, using a script. And after that is there any way to compare those two?Here is a database created to present the issue - https://airtable.com/shrQjmLrg3CHtXUlI Creating some flag for each Project or Person won't work, because in the real thing (the non-mockup) there are hundredths of People and hundredths of Projects.Can this be done without a script? If this has to be done with a script - how such script would have to look like?

The images being uploaded by the AirTable form are not showing in the table and cant be used. It is random, I have tried many image files to test and the icon every now and then show but sometimes don’t show. When we download the image from the table record and reupload it works fine. Can you please explain why? Help us fix? Or investigate to fix.

Hey Everyone,Wondering if anyone knows of a way to edit a record in a shared table in one base that is from another base in airtable.I operate off of one base daily and have a shared table of all of my projects from my projects base that I check everyday, but whenever I want to update something on my shared projects table I have to go to that specific base to do it, which is kinda annoying so hoping for a solution.

How do I know if I submitted a form through Airtable? I received a copy of my responses, but I don’t know if this means my firm was submitted or not since I didn’t get a confirmation. Thank you!

Hello everyone,I am working in a company that negotiates tariffs and preferential offers from big suppliers and makes them available to members of our community. I want to have an efficient way of displaying these discounts to any and all who might need it, and make sure they are easily understandable. The issue is that the format of those discounts varies from one supplier to another. Some suppliers just have a form people need to fill, others require sending a PDF, etc...The simplest thing would then be to have some cards displaying information as a text, possibly with some extra attachments or buttons. I found some pretty good examples on the type of display I would like on JoinSecret and BuiltFirst. I think that tiling cards in some sort of "bounty board" really makes information easily discernable.The only issue is that cards do not expand as the text is too long, which limits my Gallery. OK Guys so I have some redundant collaborators who I need to delete. I have been into the share dialogue and removed them. I have have deleted all tasks they were assigned to. Yet the gosts seems to persist in my Canban views as below. and the collaborator called internal action - I don’t seem to recall having created this. Ultimately it results in useless columns taking up space in the Canban view as well as the legacy staff names being constantly present. any help on getting rid of this would be appreciated!

I have a base that has been populated by data from a form sent to alumni of our program. We would like to send these to our students once a quarter for updates. However, sending the form again just creates duplicate records. Is there any way for Airtable to recognize the same answers on multiple records (same name, for example) and just update the fields that are different? Maybe a better way to ask… Is there any way to send a form that updates existing records instead of creating new ones?

Hello! It seems like it would be intuitive to have a Calendar view that is similar to a “Dispatch Grid View” from other software (like ServiceFusion, screenshot attached), but I do not see that option! I even tried the Ghant view which is the closest thing, but that shows records by the day, not by the hour. Use case for service industry: We have a Job records with Staff assigned to each record. It would be helpful to be able to view the calendar on an hourly daily basis per Staff. This way, we can better allocate resources and see conflicts in our schedule. Hi all, I created a form for our clients to submit information and toggled the "allow people to request a copy of their responses" and I got an email the next day saying this option disappeared for them on the form. So I pulled up the form in my table and the option is now "unclickable" even though I haven't changed plans or made any permissions changes since creating the form.Any ideas why it won't let me toggle this on so they can receive a copy of their responses?

So, I have 4-5 Beta testers for some software. I have a list of things that I want them to test. Once they test the stuff, they can upload videos, comments, etc...But if I share one table with several users, then they will overwrite their notes. How do I use One Table, but share with multiple users and not allow each user to see or update each other's notes? I guess, the short question is, how do I share among four users, without making four different Tables. Is there a way to make one table, but isolate users input from each?

Hi - I'm using a list view on interfaces to show a list of assignments by individual. Each individual is apart of a specific team. I'm running into issues with only one team populating nested assignments while individuals on other teams is showing up with empty assignments.Organization -  Level 1 = Assignments | Level 2  = TeamAppreciate any support in solving or if this is something that's other's are figuring out too. We are using a timeline view that is grouped by tags and set to "split multiple values into individual groups." Depending on the browser/computer that opens the timeline view, the order in which the tags are grouped changes.  Both instances are using identical settings for the grouping and are being viewed via a shared link.  The Sort feature is not used at all, only the ordering based on Group.Below are screenshots showing the behavior:  In this instance,  "A" was taken from Chrome and "B" was taken from Edge from the same computer. However, we have users who are using Chrome and see the incorrect order like in "B."  Incorrect results have also been seen in Safari, Brave, and Chrome set to incognito.Is there a different approach that can be used to guarantee that the order of the groups is consistent across browsers/devices?    

I have a column {Sentence with Plain Value}, whenever a value that is listed in column {Plain Value} exists, I want it replaced with the value in column {Value with R Ball} and outputted with other initial values in the sentence. For example:I love to have a Big Breakfast will be -> I love to have a Big Breakfast®A Burger is delicious -> A Burger® is deliciousHow can I accomplish this?

I saw a thread that mentioned being able to change the air table theme even though you couldn't change background pictures and such directly. I can't find the source of the source again, but what I remember is that it may have been available through some sort of lab or designer or dev space, and it mentioned some sort of bizarre leopard print option, if that rings any bells. 

Hi All,Hope someone can help!In our base we have multiple Proposals (in one table) linked to each single Sales Opportunity (in another table).I would like the proposal's naming convention to be "{Sales Opportunity} - Proposal 1", with any further Proposals linked to the same Sales Opp named Proposal 2, 3, etc. (ie not using an Autonumber field that simply counts all records in a table). Ideally the number will not change if an earlier Proposal is deleted (but not the end of the world if so).Is anyone aware of a way to do this besides manually?Many thanks!

I’m using an iPad Pro, 11-inch, and having difficulty creating an Interface. I can configure it through the first few screens, but when it prompts me to add fields and forms, the screen continually jumps up and down with the “Open in the AirTable App” notification bar appearing and disappearing off the screen. Anyone else experiencing this or know a workaround (other than using a different computer)?

Hi Community,New to Airtable and trying to put together an inventory tracking system.  I followed some video's on YouTube and created 4 separate tables.  Equipment (i.e. models), Received, Issued, and Disposition.  I have a form that will intake when we receive item.  The form logs each record as an individual item, so we can track serial numbers and other unique information to the device. Here is where I am wondering the art of the possible.  I can have the team fill out another form with the exact same information, but I was wondering if there is a way, in my Issued Form where I can look back at the inventory that has been received and provide a drop down for staff to select from.  That data would be submitted in the Issued table.  Assuming there would also need to be a field in the Received table for Available Yes/No.  After selection and submission of the form, it would change that Available field from Yes to No and remove it from the li

I schedule presentations for various members of our Board.  I need for airtables to embed all upcoming presentations currently not assigned on a private page on our website.  Then I would like to direct the Board members to that page and ask them to select which presentation they would like to make.  (any Board member can make any presentation).  Once they select which presentation(s) they will make, then have the form update so that others can see that option is already chosen and automate an e-mail to that Board member with additional info about that presentation.  Anyone had a similar need and figured out how to do it?

I have multiple tables for tracking different projects / workplans, and the columns are different in each. I created a field on each to note tasks/projects in each workplan that has to be reported to my leader ("REPORTUP", as a single select). I set up a list view in each table that will show only those items with a filter, but I would like to have a table that would pull the "task" field from each table when I select "YES" on the "ReportUp" field. I have not been successful using the "linked field" set ups. When I did it, all of the tasks were in one box in the "consolidation table". I essentially want a stacked view. Is that possible? 

Context: I have a series of trainings that is being accessed by those in multiple time zones. Previously, I have marked everything in GMT, yet it continues to confuse respondents who are only thinking in their current time. Therefore, I’m trying to create a registration form that converts the training options to the registrant’s time zone. I have managed to create a grid that adjusts the Date/Time format (see image below) Unfortunately, this doesn’t configure over to a form. Is there a specific field type that can be used?

Forgive me if this is complicating. Tried contacting Airtable Support but it has been a while with no response. My browser Airtable has no issues what so ever but I prefer to use the App for my Macbook. Never had an issue until I changed my email on my account (can only be done in browser). Now the App no longer reads my email address as having a account, then i try to sign-in with google but it auto signs in. I have cleared my cache to try and stop that but it keeps auto signing in to my old email address which now has no dashboards in that file. Any tips on how to use my app again? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. I have gone into App data and deleted cache, deleted browser cache and used the airtable option to clear cache which does not seem to do anything.
