What is the proposed idea/solution? Align data seperately in each column for linked fields in table mode. ... How does is solve the user problems? Readability. Text normally is left aligned and numbers right aligned. Currently I make separate tables based on readability. However this makes each column completely undynamic. As soon as there is some data that is longer than the defined with of one of the separate column the whole table is skewed and unreadable. ... How was this validated? accross my +20 page designs that makes everything from invoices to assembly manuals ... Who is the target audience? Everyone who needs printed material in a table format. ...

What is the proposed idea/solution? For a selected set of records in a table, generate a report showing all the changes made to those records within a given timeframe, split by user, then split by field. How does is solve the user problems? This provides a way for any user to audit the set of changes made to those records in bulk. How was this validated? N/A Who is the target audience? Any user who is trying to audit changes made to records on a periodic basis.

I have a feature request - to be able to have variable weight of font within a text box. This would allow me to have something like First Name: {First Name} Within the block. I use a mixture of static text and field variables and I would like to differentiate so the text flows nicely on the page and not have to move multiple pieces of information to make a page flow properly. Thanks!

This would be a very helpful feature for me. I use the page designer app quite a lot, and setting up multi-page templates in one base has been quite time consuming. I now need to move at least two of these to another base, to save having to download the pdfs, upload them to an attachment field, and then sync this filed to the other base. I’d rather not have to do this, or to re-create the page designer templates again in the new base.

Is it possible to be able to have selectable charts in an Interface dashboard similar to those in AT Dashboard apps? It would be very useful to be able to select an objects on a chart (bar or pie or…) and have it either pop the record/s of that object or have it filter the view without having to use separate filters. sd

I realise that this must feel like old ground and a Iknow a lot of poeple have been begging for this for a long time and I know you think were very pleased to announce you’d fixed it - but certainly with regardless the long discussions earlier in the eyar - you obvsiously werent’ reading it properly. Taht group weren’t asking to embed stuff IN airtable - why would you want ot do that when you can only share it with users or put it in the programme. This content is made to be published obviously !!! And these days for most of us that means in our website. bAsically you’ve developed a lovely dashboarding tool but wont let us actually use it. We want to embed blocks and the pages they are in in our EXTERNAL WEBSITE. not the other way round. And no, the embed one block with the table isnt’t he answer and no just being able to view a picture isn’t the answer - integrated, live data from airtable into our websites pLEASE

We need the graphs to present the data values on each bar or bie chart, now you need to move the cursor on the graph to know the values which will not be useful in case you present those graphs in a separate presentation by cropping them out into a predestined presentation slides.

Is it possible to import fonts natively or through a workaround for the page designer block? Looks like it’s just google fonts? Thanks for any insight.

These posts are asking about a feature similar to the “filterByFormula” in the standard API, to programmatically filter record selection.
Can table.selectRecordsAsync() query a table or view? Scripting app
I see that you can get all records from a table or view - and even sort them. But what if you want a subset - for example all those records connected to another record? It’s not always possible or desirable to create views for this type of thing?
More efficient way to query records? Scripting app
Is there a way to retrieve specific records without iterating through all the results of a table using table.selectRecordsAsync() or view.selectRecordsAsync()? Something like SELECT / WHERE queries in SQL? Or in AirTable terms, a Filter? This would be far more efficient than having to iterate through returned records checking for the records I’m interested in…
My request is slightly different and I think falls into the “interactive” idea behind the scripting block: session.selectedRecords() .
The idea
Each record can be selected with a checkbox on the far left-hand side of the row, or all records can be selected from the box at the top. The UI allows users to “Send” or “Delete” the selected records from the base when right-clicking after selection.
Providing a scripting block some way to detect which records are selected could help with more granular use-cases. For example, the user wants to update 4 records in “GroupX” and 2 records in “GroupY”. Right now, there are easy ways to filter records matching “GroupX” OR “GroupY” but not a mix (absent other algorithms for detecting the desired records).
Potential issues
One implementation issue that comes to mind is when does this selection get stored. If a user runs a scripting block with “N” records selected, provides some information via an input.textAsync() and deselects some records before submitting the text, does the script use the selected records at script start or at moment of execution?
What do others think? And anyone from Airtable, can you give hints if this might be in the works (or any other session variables for that matter)?

What is the proposed idea/solution? org chart extension: rather than listing every single field beneath the table heading, creating a searchbar option for each table where you type the field name in and the extension then shows ONLY the fields across the base that are connected/impacted by changes to that field. flow chart extension: (1)Allowing for more than a hundred records to be included, (2) arranging them to fill the screen rather than listed in a line regardless of whether they are connected to other records and (3) allowing for the possibility to zoom in and out How does is solve the user problems? org chart extension: currently, this extension is only practical for relatively simple bases. this change would allow for more focused conceptualizing and trouble-shooting of bases. flowchart extension: current configuration is very limited and difficult to use for tables/views with more than 100 records. these changes would allow for use with larger data sets and clearer visualization. How was this validated? Not sure what this means, but this is based on my own experience using Airtable. Who is the target audience? org chart extension: anybody who is interested in a powerful, usable visualization of their base (presumably most airtable users). i was extremely excited when i came across this extension, and i think the added elements mentioned above could make this much more useful. currently it feels more like a neat trick that doesn't work effectively for the bases that could benefit most flowchart extension: users interested in showing how records within a table are linked, particularly users trying to show a network of interrelated records (applicable for users in practically any field). my organization is building an international network of researchers on various types of perennial crops, and this extension could be an incredibly powerful tool for visualizing various elements within the network (hubs, sub-networks, geographical range of these sub-networks through color-coding... etc)
