Please consider adding on/off buttons (checkboxes) to the filters to allow users to toggle individual filters on/off. Exhausted from creating/deleting/creating/deleting/creating/deleting/creating/deleting/creating filters 🙂

Views are useful, but sometimes a view needs to have lots of information in it regardless to be useful. Side scrollling with dozens of columns can be unwieldy and difficult to navigate (especially as the user adds new columns in different views, and they automatically place them at the end of other views). Colour coding and/or being able to group columns would seemingly be a simple to implement and very useful functionality. Grouping columns would be nice for tabbing between views and being able to move a bunch of columns at once (or unhide a column and have it snap to it's "group").

When Grouping by a linked record or multiple select field, I would like the option to split by multiple values, similar to how the Chart and Pivot Table Blocks work. Right now, grouping by a multiple select or linked record field crates new groups for each combination of values in the field. I would like groups for each individual value instead.

Need the direction of the fields in a table from right to left for usage of hebrew data. Also the direction of writing and aligning text in hebrew needs to be from right to left. It becomes frastrating even more when including english letters or numbers.

Displaying the field name is useless for so many Gallery views created (and some Kanban views). For example, I don’t need to know that xyz@abc is their “email” or 123.456.7890 is there “phone”. The field names take up far too much space when viewing.

Button Fields could really use an update to allow for dynamic button labeling. A label could be set to not only Single Line Text, but also support other field types such as Single Select, Link Fields, but also Attachments where an Image could be displayed as a clickable button. Here, we see each button opening a unique URL, however the label is static - locked as the text "Open URL" which is an awful user experience. Why not allow for other fields to be referenced within the Label, exactly how the URL formula works? Part of this issue stems from the URL field itself also being too simplistic, and not supporting text for the referenced URL itself (which then itself could be used by a button field, without the need for an independent Label field).

With almost every table I build, I want to be able to group by year and month chronologically. However, most of the time I have a full date (with the day) on there as well. Hence, almost every table I build I have to create multiple extra columns to pull the year and month (both together and separately) in order to be able to have groups chronologically. This is to see what projects are happening in each month, how many items are sold each year, what tasks need to be done each month, what expenses happened each month, etc etc. And if I do a pretty format for the month and year (January 1, 2023) in one table, I still have to do another column that is YYYY-MM in order to use it as the group if I want it in chronological order, which is then not pretty (2023-1) for the group name. It would be great to be able to have something that is smart enough to give you options on grouping and sorting that is based on your date column’s YYYY-MM or YYYY-MM-DD (whatever you choose) equivalent so that these columns don’t need to be made every time. Even though they can be hidden once they’re set up, it’s a lot of repetition and bloat. Added a couple screenshots for examples, although I’m sure most people know what I’m talking about!

Pretty simple really. When grouping records in Views, my suggestion is to implement the option to group records by week, month, and year instead of solely by specific date. For example, if I’m tracking call records from sales calls, we monitor performance on a weekly basis. This feature is already available in things like Charts in Interfaces (and the Chart app), but at-a-glance grouping would be helpful too. Please and thank you!

What I would personally like is the ability to add a comment to any given field for any given record (akin to the cell-level comments that appear as red triangles in the corner of cells in Excel). There are times when I want to add additional or qualifying comments/notes at a field-level in records without cluttering up the view. Excel examples: Add comment Comment indicator On-hover Edit comment I merely want what could be considered a comment mode/layer that could be applied to any given cell in any given field in any given table. Excel, Google Sheets, and many other spreadsheet-based applications provide this functionality. The purpose is to be able to collaborate or add additional notes or comments in context without affecting the data in the cells themselves. This essentially requesting the same functionality that is currently available for adding field descriptions to field headers, but also allowing this at an individual cell level. There are limitless use cases for this functionality: Carrying out a collaborative conversation Providing an editor’s note for a publicly shared table Adding a comment about an outlier result in a data table Adding notes about a set of images. Adding a disclaimer

I love the default behavior of multiple select fields, which colorizes the items. Because I work with more complex linked fields instead, i’d love the option to colorize linked fields items similarly to multiple select fields.
