Button field in table can be used to run a script but not an automation. Button in interface detailed view can be used to run an automation but not a script. Besides, these buttons cannot be displayed on record lists. Could Button field be used to start an automation (the same way interface button does)? It could be very useful to have the same button, launching the same automation displayed in different interfaces and in the table views. And also having the button available in lists views. My "hacky" workaround for now, is creating a checkbox field and an automation that runs when the checkbox is checked (and unselect itself at the end). Thanks! ... View more

When you choose a list interface, there is the ability to sort and filter the data.  However, if you choose the list element on blank canvas the there is no ability to sort. Also sorting on grid view in blank canvas would be very helpoful ... View more

What is the proposed idea/solution? The new open records/expanded records in the Interface designer is nice, but I miss having a floating header that I can always see when i scroll down the page. How does is solve the user problems? Sometimes my open records have a lot of fields, it would be helpful to have a floating heading / head bar so you can show certain fields always at the top. What is the proposed idea/solution? When you search for records in Airtable interface, then click open a record in full screen, and then return to the interface, the search bar will clear itself. This slows work flow. Also, it would be helpful if the search bar stability was improved — when typing it will have some lag when it begins searching. What is the proposed idea/solution? There should be a way to sort the items in the dropdown when I want to show/hide fields. The one I need the most is to separate the input fields (The ones that can be manually changed) from the formula fields and the link_to_record_fields. Sorting by alphabet would also be great. I have a table with 420 fields and when I try want to replicate a fields and change a few params (Usually by code) I have a hard time filtering what are the params that I have to fill. For calendars, timelines, etc. on the interface editor, we currently have three options to configure the initial view: Closest job to today Today Exact date My problem is that the only dynamic settings (1 and 2) put the focus of the timeline/calendar in the future.  For example, in a 2-week calendar view, focusing on "Today" aligns the current week to the top row, and next week to the bottom row.  This is great for forward-facing projects, but I need the calendar to show this week and last week.   The only solution is to use option 3 (Exact date) and do update the hard-coded date at the beginning of each week.  I have an alarm scheduled to remind me to do this for all of my dashboards each Monday morning... not ideal. I propose a few more options/settings for the initial view in these interface elements.  The simplest would be the ability to modify one of the existing dynamic dates--for example "[One week after] the closest job to today" ...
