Alternating Row Color for Read-ability

I am entering a bunch of field from left to right. I have several Columns that span from the left to right portion of my screen. Sometimes my eyes betray me and I start looking at the wrong row. I used to change my Excel spreadsheets to a style that altered the row color from white to another light color like blue or grey so that you can easily see the row you are on. I found it easier to follow the row across like this … Is there a way to do that in Airtable?

A. I’d like to have the ability to display the result of a formula onto a form, just like it does when I’m in the Grid view, without needing to add extensions. Use case : My form is some version of a shopping list , the user filling the form can see the total on the screen B. An alternate approach would be the ability to assign Numerical values to a Text string and then, give me the function to just add values chosen in a field or fields and then display the result on the form, as explained above. (so I don’t have to figure out the formula!) But if A were the easier option of the two, please consider it!

What is the proposed idea/solution? Airtable already allows barcode scanning in regular views, we need to make sure it works when a Form is being used How does is solve the user problems? It's intuitive for users that the feature would be available on the Form version. It also allows non-editors to have an easier way to enter data without needing a login How was this validated? Not sure I understand the questions Who is the target audience? Surveyors or anyone who wants field used

It would be great to be able to add labels (plain text) and read-only fields (to be able to prefill them) in the forms. Is anything planned in this direction?

In Gallery View, you can customize what attributes of any given record show up on the card. In Calendar view, you just get the name of the card. I’d like to be able to, when you click a record in calendar, see a couple other attributes of my choosing with having to fully expand the record (some of these records have a LOT of attributes, and I only need to see one or two specific, consistent ones in calendar).

Being able to keep paperwork for a nonprofit on Airtable is great. However, a lot of our forms require signatures. It would be great if Airtable provided this feature. If anyone knows a simple integration for this please let me know!

What is the proposed idea/solution? Give airtable users the ability to automatically create new views based on conditions. How does is solve the user problems? Less time spent on repetitive admin work that can easily be automated.

It would be really awesome if we could ask a question on a form and put a max word count in for their answers, similar to many other form products out there.

I’ve used Airtable for a long time and I wish it had these two simple features: Ability to reset filters/groups/sorting to a user-defined default for each view. That way I can play around but then reset to the defaults. Right now I just generate a view-only link for myself so I don’t mess up my view and refresh to get back to the default settings. It would be much better though if I could make changes in-base then either reset them or set them as the new default to lock them in. Ability to update all views when I change something. For example, if I add a new column and then resize the column then for all of my other views, that column will be tacked on to the end and will not be resized. It’s a lot of work to go through and fix that column in every view every time I want to make a minor change like resizing or adding a column. Often I just delete all of my views and recreate them, since it’s easier than manually updating them all. Anyone agree? Any workarounds that I’m not realizing?
