It’s great to be able to “Limit record selection to a view” when selecting a Linked Record, however, this means that the number of views gets out of hand quickly. It also means creating views that you will never look at (as they are only needed for filtering Linked Record options). I would prefer the ability to filter linked records by conditions instead. This would add flexibility and prevent the creation of unnecessary views. Bonus points if you could filter based on data from both the current record, and the Linked Record. For example, show if {Current record field} contains_______ and {Linked Record field} contains _________.

i would like to be able to resize columns in a batch. this would be more broad than just auto-sizing (Auto column resizing by double clicking border b/w column headers) select-all and resize one column = all columns resize to match double-click column = resize to fit content (or title) select-all and set width = all columns resize to specified size etc.

Would love the ability to create subheadings under which to group multiple fields. For example, the ability to have a “Channel” field heading, which 4 different fields – Organic, Direct, Social, referral – would appear under. Then those groups/subheadings can be collapsed/expanded, which would simultaneously collapse/expand all the fields that fall under it.

We should have an option to lock the positioning of the fields in a table in ALL views that are created. If you have a ton of fields and views in a table (say like 50 fields and 14 views), and you want to add/subtract fields to modify the data in it, it because very cumbersome to make sure the fields in each and every view are organized in the correct/logical order. Some tables don’t require the fields to be in unique/custom orders. It’d be nice to have an option/button that we can turn on/off for a table to force all fields in be placed in the same order. If you adjust the position of “Field 2” in “View 4”, then it’ll automatically update the position of Field 2 in the other 13 views in that table so you don’t have to manually drill into each view and drag Field 2 into the desired position. As tables generate tons of fields/data, this feature would really come in handy and save alot of time.

I’d like to request the ability to add new linked records in interface forms. I use forms for adding data and I need to be able to create new linked records. this is a huge limitation at this time.

Really. We need a form or an addition to the current form that allows for editing a current record as opposed to only being able to add a new record. I should be able to send a client a form that they can find their record in and update their data and not have it create a completely new record. Please. I hate that I've had to resort to paying another company in order to do this.

Would love to see an additional option within the Shared View to allow for the share link to include the ability to read comments. (Commenter permission won’t work for our use case, and several other peoples, it seems.) I’ve seen quite a few similar requests over the past couple of years, and I’m curious to see if there’s more interest in it now.
For us, it would allow us to strike the right balance of interacting with a guest/customer, while limiting them to a specific view. We don’t want them to be able to see everything in the base, and we’d rather them not have to create an account in order to view the relevant data. For us the data relevant to the customer IS the comments themselves.
The only workaround for this at the moment is to duplicate the base, delete the views we don’t want the customer to have, and create a commenter account for them. Even then, they still could access the base with a personal view. The shared view is what we want/need/love… but it won’t work for us without comments :frowning:
I’ve seen some random threads about this from several people, so if you’re one of those people, let’s band together to make our request known to the glorious powers that be.

Please make it an option to select multiple views and change specific configurations.
Use case - I have a base with hundreds of identical views shared with outside customers and the only difference is each view is filtered by the specific customer (so they can only see their information we want to give them). If change one of the filtered fields, I then must manually go into each each view and re-do the configurations.
Right now I have to create a “Template View”. Go into each view and “Copy another view’s configuration” Select the “Template View” Select all to copy configuration Go into the filter and change the customer name back to who I made the view for. Then repeat 100’s of times This takes hours :frowning:
Would be nice to just be able to select multiple views at once and edit specific configurations. Then should only take a minute.
Thanks for listening.

Hi, I’d like to see some advanced form view options: Full page-width forms; Editable font-size; Radio buttons for Single Select; Check boxes for Multiple Select; Number limitations (i.e. Between 1 and 10); Sliders for numbers, percentage etc.; Character limitations on single line text and long text. FYI: Using it for tests with the possibility to choose between answers. Currently using the drop down options form users to choose between Answer A, Answer B, etc. Because there’s more text than a simple form in it, the current form-width in combination with the somewhat ‘big’ font-size, makes the form harder to read. Besides that, it’s easier for users to fill in radio buttons, than to select from a dropdown menu. Best regards, Bram
