For lookup fields, it would be nice to have the option to cascade / inherit field descriptions from the table the data is coming from.  This helps nudge us towards single source of truth by: increasing the readability and intuitiveness of our bases and interfaces ('descriptions everywhere'); reducing the burden of managing that description (no longer have to cascade the description everywhere it is referenced); and eliminating the need for users to 'go somewhere else' to get their info (e.g. 'start a draft record in the other form so the info pops up', or a flat user manual that is decoupled from the application) It will need to be optional / opt-in so it doesn't break the behaviours of existing bases. I'm trying to suggest something simple (hopefully). I attached a screenshot of my google chrome using tab groups. It would be great to be able group tables especially when I'm in the pro version and working with many records in a base with my team. The table names are very long and I have many tables as well. What is the proposed idea/solution? Functionality to hide/show comments in a collapsable window within interfaces, specifically the "Record Review" page How does is solve the user problems? Allows users to hide/show what they need to see. Provides more real estate on the window if comments aren't relevant at that point in time. How was this validated? Hi, Not sure if my previous post worked, but one of the comments from the team at work is that the grid views are messy when it's a whole page of 'pill' shapes, particularly when they're all different widths (based on the text length of each option). Is there the ability to: 1. Shade/colour the entire cell instead of just a pill shape? 2. If not, can the width of the pills be based on the width of the column instead of the text length, so they're clear and a consistent width regardless of the dropdown option selected? 3. And, can white be included as a pill colour so we can have drop-down fields that look like plain text? These would significantly help with clarity when reading grid views. Cheers, Andrew   ... What is the proposed idea/solution? When displaying a linked records field as a Gallery, it would be nice if you could right-click the records to unlink them. If 'Link / unlink records' is toggled on, this would make sense.  How does is solve the user problems? It's confuses users to have to change views, then right click in order to unlink records. How was this validated? It's always confusing and a bit unintuitive to have to switch views in order to unlink records in the Gallery view Who is the target audience? It has been a helpful tool for my team in data entry and clean-up to create interface pages where the underlying records can be easily edited to add discovered missing entries or update a field for a given record. Especially for my team members that are less data savy and have a harder time with raw spreadsheets! I have been able to design pages from some of the page layout templates (such as "blank" or "record viewer") that have been great for our team to use! However, it seems this functionality is not available in the "dashboard" interface page. Maybe I'm missing how this can be accomplished but if not, having the option to edit the underlying data/records would be a great addition to make the dashboard interface more powerful! ... Not all the functionalities of charts starting from a blank Interface page are available for charts on dashboard pages. One feature I have been missing is the "group by" option under y-axis for a Bar Chart that allows for categorization of the plotted data. It would be great if this could be added to charts on Interfaces! I have been impressed by some of the power and features enabled in "dashboard" interfaces (pivot tables, easily clicking on a chart to view underlying records, etc.) but then frustrated when some of the previous functionality from charts on a blank interface page isn't available (adding group by in plotting, editing underlying records, etc.). ...
