I miss the option for the input form to define whether the new record will be added to the bottom (default) or to the top of the list. I love the group feature with its ability to collapse rows into a more manageable view. It makes dealing with large amounts of data so much easier. But right now, when we search for a record and it’s in a collapsed group, that group stays collapsed. It would be awesome if that group could expand automatically. Right now I’m trying to create a view that shows records with last weeks Monday date, so I can add a filter that says is within last 13 days, then I want to say and is not within last 6 days to disclude this week. If you could make a secondary date field visible on the calendar view’s sidebar it would make it a lot easier to use the drag and drop scheduling features. Even the example on the calendar view guide would need this functionality: https://support.airtable.com/hc/en-us/articles/216945218-Guide-to-calendar-view In this example there’s a “Date/Time Scheduled” field and a “Due Date” field. Hi there, I just had an idea that would be a great addition to Airtable’s concept: something like an »API field type«, that’d make it possible to easily retrieve data from external sources, display them in a table and filter and sort by these values. I know there are probably some difficulties in creating a feature like this that is easy to use enough for every one. However, I could imagine so many use cases in which users could benefit from enhanced/additional data (that’s often availably via public APIs), so I thought I’d just share this with you. Currently when grouping, the value of the field shows as a kind of title for the group. When the field value is longer than the first column, only the first few characters show, not to mention the space taken by the record count. I think it’d be ideal if the full value text were to appear, followed by the count, but not restricted to the first field width. That way it’d be much easier to use IMO. ... View more

I think it’s subjective whether this is a bug or not. Hope you can “fix it” though :slightly_smiling_face: The barcode search (using the iPhone app at least) seems not to trim whitespace at the end of a string. e.g. We have some QR codes which codify "D032 " not “D032” so return zero results. This is kind of our fault, BUT also kind of counter-intuitive since a substring like “D03” will return ALL results with “D03” within them - so the search is very accepting in one way and very strict in another.
