Time (without date) field option

Hello All, Personally I use airtable to track things throughout the day, and I’ve found it quite annoying to not have a time field option that is separate from the date. Of course I can enter the time manually in a single line text entry, but I think since we can enter the date without the time it only makes sense that we be able to enter the time without the date. What do you all think? Is this something you would find useful or something you have wished for? Claire

What is the proposed idea/solution? Allow us to select a timezone for datetime fields that only show a date. How does this solve the user problems? There is currenly a disconnect between Interface date filters (ie. filter Where {Date Field} is Today) which will filter based on a local timezone, but inside the base, the date-only field is GMT. So, the interface will filter based on local timezone, but records in the base will be GMT-based dates, and will be filtered out, even if the date is the same as the local timezone. How was this validated? By beating my head into the brick-wall that is Date-based filters Who is the target audience? Anyone who uses the filter based on 'Today'.

What is the proposed idea/solution? I suggest having conditions to unlock a button on this interface. (e.g : button is locked if column A and B are empty). This feature is pretty basic and mandatory when creating Application. Objective : Prevent human mistakes How does is solve the user problems ? We are using button to send notification to clients. Those notifications require some data that are added as variable in the email. Also, we need those data to generate contractual document. Some employee push the button often without having filled the required information. (We display an alerting message when all the information are not filled but it's not enough to stop the user doing those mistakes) How was this validated? - As No Code agency, this feature is often requested by our clients Who is the target audience? - Interface users ...

I need a way to schedule interfaces to be sent periodically as an email. Our automations are being used up for sending weekly reports. This is removing the ability to replace manual business practices with efficient automations. Ideally, I'd like a feature to send email reports out from interfaces periodically to specific users and/or user groups.

Continuing the discussion from Changing Displayed Field in Calendar View: Just wanted to cross post this in the correct forum since it’s not a feature I couldn’t find but a feature that doesn’t exist yet. It would be nice if we could change the display field of a table to be something other than the primary key field. Thanks!

When Grouping by a linked record or multiple select field, I would like the option to split by multiple values, similar to how the Chart and Pivot Table Blocks work. Right now, grouping by a multiple select or linked record field crates new groups for each combination of values in the field. I would like groups for each individual value instead.

What is the proposed idea/solution? What it says in the title. Right now it only shows if all the content is on one line. But when it's more than one line you don't see the "..." How does is solve the user problems? Can quickly see if there is more to the text box than it shows. How was this validated? ? Who is the target audience? everyone

Jumping to a date in the future is not user friendly using the scroll/slide at the bottom of the view How was this validated? ... Who is the target audience? What is the proposed idea/solution? When using a linked record and pulling over a single select field by using a lookup, it would be very useful to be able to color records with it. At the moment, it doesn't give you that option. For example, let's imagine there's a table for TASKS and another for USERS. A linked field would be used to assign a user to a given task. Now if we go into a timeline view, perhaps it would be useful to color the tasks based on the user it was assigned to. It would be intuitive to have a single select from the USERS table to color them. This could be pulled over via a lookup field then be used, but at the moment this isn't supported. How does is solve the user problems? It makes it easier to color and visualize the data within different views. It also prevents doing goofy workarounds in order to achieve this. Who is the target audience? Anybody using Airtable who use colors to visualize their data.
